Has the food gone up? (1 Viewer)

Agree with you about the food - can't understand those who habitually have to eat at the football. As for tickets and parking, particularly ticket prices, the option to 'not buy it' is to not go to the game at all, and we don't want people making that choice.

Yeah, food, drink, even replica shirt prices - I'm not that arsed. Ticket prices do bother me though. Gives the less committed another reason not to go.

If they are less committed they will find a reason not to go. the price is what the price is

Why not raise it to £60 then?

Last season we saw the first increase in attendances in years. Prices were excellent. We made a big song and dance about 'twenty's plenty' campaign and rightly so. From £18 to £23-£27 this season. It's a false economy. Gates will fall notably. Bradford have the right approach, they see the value in getting a many people through the gates as possible, and it creates a positive buzz around that club that is infectious.

We wouldn't get the increase though, we tried it last year

Didn't we?
2015-2016: 12,570
2014-2015: 9,332

Performances played a part (and yes we played 2 games at Sixfields in 14/15, but that was cancelled out by the 28K against Gillingham which was a false gate). Of course, it's not true that if you half the price you double the gate, but it probably is true that if you double the price you half the gate. It is about balance - and my opinion, but it's too early to say for sure, is that the balance is wrong and we run the risk of going back to the 7-8K gates of a couple of seasons ago and that was a painful experience.

It's simple stop buying the good and drinks and they will soon lower the prices, I am mean and have never bought a thing to eat or drink there.

Only time I've ever purchased anything at the Ricoh was that time we got free £5 on our ST cards about 7/8 years ago, can't recall why the club did that?

I don't know if I even used that if I did I probably didn't just under and never added any money to it. I wanted chips on the way home but my little boy was to tired and Pete's was probably closed anyway at that time.

Sorry I've just realised it is Gold they sell not Mad Goose. Gold ain't a bad sup either, eons ahead of the piss they sell at the other bars in the ground.

In fact it's better beer than all of the pubs around the Ricoh too bar possibly the Greyhound if you can call that near.

Sounds quite nice! Might have a Try

Do they sell it bottled?
They sell it at Asda, 4 bottles for a fiver at the moment for ubu purity, gold or mad goose. Really good drink which wa difficult to get hold of outside Warwickshire, selling it at the Ricoh the only good thing about funny shaped balls being involved at the Ricoh.,
