But we don't.....Dean Saunders record is actually worse than Thorns, and he had players like Chimbonda and Diouf and Piquouinne to call upon, and also had 13 years of coaching and management exercise to draw upon.

Nothing to be proud of but isn't statistically the worst manager in the league.

If we leave it any longer and we don't perform I fear we'll end up rotting in this league like we did The Championship. It's not like he's only just taken over this season and I'm giving a New manager 10 games before he's sacked. Thorn had all last season plus the 10 games before remember.

What's wrexham got to do with Doncaster? On current form and with better resources Saunders is statistically worse than Thorn.
Win ratio's is a lazy stat anyway, Dowie had a win ration of over 40% but also lost over 40%, when league points are calculated his record was on par with Coleman's.

A friend of mine said today that our relegation into league 1 could be the making of this club. I for one agree with him. As many have said on here, we stagnated in the championship. Something had to happen to get us out of that stagnation. It was either promotion or relegation and while we wanted the former, we got the latter!
But it's had a good effect in my eyes. We've got rid of a lot of the dead weight like Clingan, Harrison etc, we've lost some players that we didn't want to lose, though it was inevitable but most importantly, SISU have done something. We're not quite sure what it is but it's enabled Thorn to get 7 players and possible 3/4 more. Yeh we haven't had a great 12 years since being relegated from the Premiership but this could be out turning point!
So can you blame us for harbouring some hopes of a change in our circumstances? No I don't think you can. We're not being overly optermistic, just quietly hoping that this could be the break we've been praying for, for all these years. If you don't feel the same way of us, then that's fine, I'm not going to tell you how you feel, but please don't drag us down. Leave us to our hope and we'll leave you to your dispair!

Very well here is my version on the Carroll signings as previously posted;
I have to say I find it very difficult to believe that we ever were going to sign Jordan Henderson and Andy Carroll. With regard to Henderson we extended a loan period in his season here so he was not going to be permanent that season and then got quite a severe injury and returned to his club. So when would a fee ever have been discussed. Also Sunderland changed manager at the end of his returning season and Steve Bruce stated Henderson was part of his plans and as soon as he was fit he started making appearances in the first team.
Carroll made 11 apperances for Preston in the 2007/08 season when Ranson joined the club. Carroll had already won a Jackie Milburn trophy and was gaining recognition as a rising star. Prior to going to Preston he had already scored in a friendly against Juventus and was tipped for great things. By the following season he was on the subs bench for Newcastle and played 16 games for them.
Ranson made these statements in the Telegraph with no evidence but did say at the end he would return if Garry Hoffman could get the club from SISU - now is that the same Hoffman who has an interest in the Trinity Group?

Wrexham are non-league, a completely different proposition to league football let alone the 2nd tier of English football. I'm sure Kevin Wilkin has a better win and points ratio thn most of the PL managers, so is a statistically better manager than them.

So? did we sign Norwood, Nimeley, Warnock or any loan player we had from a Premier League Club. Name one loan player we have ever had that we ended up signing full-time - other than Leigh Mills.
Never mentioned it at the time, but to make him look good and deflect attention for the easily distracted however it worked a treat.

Discredit the alternative with spurious quotes ('they say we have the best manager in the world') and hope that they have more time on their hands than to check your quotes ('statistically, we have the worst manager in the league... just don't ask me to name 18 of them without looking, let alone check this cold, hard fact'). No wonder this bollocks goes round in circles. Said it once, will say it again... I hope this back and forth ducks down a bit with a successful start to the season and we can talk things through with a little balance, in the absence of hyperbole and letting some other c**t get a reasoned word in.

Yes well done. He's kept within a budget that he wasn't allowed to exceed. He is the manager that' has taken us to a level of football we have not witnessed for 50 years. He has the worst management record of any football manager of this club since 1917.

How does us extending a loan prove that we weren't ever in the running to sign him? Sunderland may have accepted a fee for Henderson when the time came before Bruce came in with new ideas. Where's your evidence to prove otherwise?
We extended his loan. Sbregia said it would help develop him for the following season. He sustained a serious injury 2 weeks after the loan extension. Not one independent source had ever indicated we made any attemp to sign these players. If you believe we ever did you believe one man. The man who said we are debt free and will be in a lot better place in 5 years time. We are not, we aren't and I don't believe him.
We do also have statistically the worst manager in the league. Is that a handicap?

How about his financial dealings? You always seem to avoid confronting those.
Probably due to how insignificant they are when looking at the bigger picture that you avoid confronting. He is a mercenary to our club just like those players that came and went so if he wants to look out for himself in the meantime then fair play to the guy. You really need to get over it.
