i cannot see any other way that ccfc can ever play at the ricoh again unless ACL backs down and gives sisu what they want .
that means at least 50% share of the ricoh with full matchday revenues , What will happen to the ricoh ,will acl back down , can acl survive without CCFC ,and please dont say 4 concerts a year can balance their books ,not possible surely .
infact if ccfc doesnt go back to the ricoh can aCL even survive .
All points in the direction that acl have been beaten here when they clearly didnt expect to lose ,as with all of us i think they underestimated SISUs weird obsession with losing money .

Surely this isn't the outcome sisu wanted.They won't want to be running up anymore debt buying land and building a new ground.Will acl consider selling the ricoh to sisu/otiuml as a better option than nobody using it.?

As I posted on another thread, Odsal stadium (dump) has to make money for the Bradford Bulls. If they can pull in £200k from a poxy 1980's concert, at short notice, it shouldn't take some half decent marketing guy long to make many times more from a first class modern arena in Coventry.

The ball is totally in ACLs court.

If they can make the business model work without the football club, then fine. The loss of revenue from CCFCs rent is not really the issue, but knock on effects of deals with Ricoh and Compass may be more of a problem.

They could also look to redevelop the site, maybe as an exhibition or concert hall.

Once the lease agreement is broken, the Higgs charity could sell their share to whoever they fancy, though I'd suggest they'd want to keep it out of the hands of anyone who may give it to SISU long term. Preston could buy their share, and stick a team in there or redevelop the site.

Any of this could totally undermine SISUs long term plan of picking the Ricoh up on the cheap, and leave SISU and the club screwed.

Don't underestimate the amount of business that already goes through the stadium. I was there at the weekend for the Corporate Games and it was heaving. Big snooker event also there later in the year and there's lots of other non-public events that take place there as well. Sure loss of ffooty income will cause a problem but only needs a few other big events to make up the loss.

Yes royally screwed over when it was said creditors would be paid in full. Nice to know we have such hardcore owners. What really concerns me is that we would be totally stuffed (more than we are now) if ACL really didn't need the rent from the club and told SISU to do one. Assuming hypothetically that Compass and the Casino are dealt with ACL could say it's too late for any deals. SISU could take them to court but on what grounds? If they still want to argue that the council loan was very naughty then that's not going to help with the groundshare at Northampton, where they're also getting a loan from their council I understand. So what happens to our club if this takes place? At the moment we have the fall back position of the offer from ACL if the groundshare goes wrong but once we lose that safety net......

Agree 100%. Financially fishers reasons/motives don't really add up, unless as I mentioned in another post, they plan to be in this for years and years (not the usual behaviour of a hedge fund)

Average ticket is more like £15, plus 20% of that is VAT.

IMO. I think it all adds up to a debt shifting exercise within the SISU group of companies . Then a massive liquidation of all things Sky Blue just to offset the losses against something. Hey presto debt free SISU. Only time will tell . Only my opinion by the way but something very very fishy is going on.
