But should it take 16 years to turn round an ailing club? What will have happened to the fanbase in that time if we continue down this path we are currently on? If Sisu/Otium do get ownership of the Ricoh then it stands to reason that what ever company name they choose to put it in then we will still be paying rent (as Fisher has admitted we will at any new stadium) so will we be in a better position or just the same after 16 more years of pain?

I was thinking 10 years since they took over. 16 years, which is more than half of my current life, whether we are in a better position or not I'll be long past caring.
I possibly misread the opening post. To be fair 10 years is fucking ridiculous too.

Considering how long it took them to sort out the books as Fisher said, I'm not filled with confidence

i dont think any off us understand what sisu's end game is, so from that point of view yes most off us misunderstand them and personaly i think that has been deliberate on their part.

lets face it if they have a plan and that plan is going to benefit the club 100% and make 95% of the fans happy (i appreciate you are never going to please everyone) then wouldn't you convey that plan a million times better than sisu have rather than the smoke and mirrors we have had since pretty much day one?

I don't disagree with any of this - read my first sentence.

I am asking if you feel it will be worth it if their masterplan comes off?

What masterplan? they do not have one, they just lurch from one failed plan on to the next stupid idea and any one who thinks they have had a good idea or done any thing good, tell me what it was as i seem to have forgot what great things they did. The only good thing they will do is when they GO. In fact our new song should be "Go Now".

Ha ha, fair enough! I couldn't resist though. Someone was bound to say it, so in early with the joke should quickly defuse it. Even magic82ball got it.

Cant though can they, they cant come out and say "we have absolutely no intention of building a stadium and we are really trying to distress ACL to get the Ricoh cheap and that whole business of suing a charity is to scare them off" that would shatter their smoke and mirrors.

Can you tell me how the club's finances will look once Sisu leave?

Apparently they "saved" us, but I only see us in more debt, with less fans, in a lower league. Hardly call that "back on its feet, good income streams and a top to bottom approach on the football side of things".

They could've (and should've) spent money in our final season in the Championship, bought the Higgs share (and probably be in a good position for the council's) when relations were good and the price was cheap, and kept us with almost 10 times the amount of home fans we have today.

Now the best we can hope for is that the debt buying something that was essentially on offer cheap from day one doesn't kill us immediately and we have a few seasons of good luck before the debts are called in and we go pop.

Sisu have been a catastrophic failure from day one. There arrival was the worse day CCFC have ever experienced, and it has continued on a downward spiral ever since.

It is still possible they could achieve some good for the Club though--they could sell up and clear off.
