According to The Mirror today. Both are eyeing him up on a cheap deal!

It's ok we can use the money to bolster the squad, just like we did with the Wilson money.......err so we were led to believe.

Haynes is not ready for the step up, a good prospect but needs at least another 6 months pitch time, he'd be better staying put then moving on in the summer or next January. But greedy SISU will sell and squirrel the money away somewhere, only place it will not go is to the manager.

Why have I got the feeling that we will be watching mainly youth team players for the rest of the season.

5 point plan for the future my arse - Sell, sell, sell, sell & sell

Do not worry the new stadium will enable us to put every 60p generated in the pound into the playing squad...

What a fucking joke.

Mind you Haynes has been watched by numerous clubs on multiple occasions this season, still has a lot to learn defensively.

Haynes
Maddison
Willis

Will all be sold by SISU for a few million over the next 12 months I'd have thought, that money will then miraculously disappear and then we won't be able to afford replacements 'due to FFP restrictions'

SISU really must draw the line now. More weakening of the squad will cost them more in the long run. Everyone knows that.

don't care anyone more giving my season ticket up end of season. no investment in team but cheap crappy loans, the midfield has been crying out for wingers and the club ignores what fans have been saying. We getting relegated to league 2 soon and the club will have around 2000-3000 season ticket holders what a joke of a club we are.

If we get an offer for over £200k for Haynes we have done well, he's not been that good since the Gillingham game.

thats a bit harsh he was looking a decent player right until the moment pressley pulled a coleman and stuck him wide left of midfield. his goal against Peterborough showed you all you need to know about haynes he has alot of potential. everyone was bitching about cyrus last season look at what derby have done to him if we sell haynes for 200k waggott should be shot

I agree with all but he will eventually become a LW and not a LB, he simply cannot defend.

Some said the same about christie....

And some would be correct, got ripped a new arse in his final 6 months with us week in week out, went to Derby has performed well GOING FORWARD setting up numerous attempts / goals, but still has the tenancy for errors at RB

True. However, I really can't imagine Haynes playing higher than he is.

Wilson was good from the off. I don't mean to be harsh, but really can't see what is so special about him. I could see it with Wilson. Can see it in flashes from Aaron Phillips and can see it with Maddison, but not with Haynes.

Just my opinion obviously.

Harsh given his age. He's still a kid physically. Remember the skinny ineffectual kid Callum Wilson before last season?

Scouts are not watching his form, as most if not all except young players will be very inconsistent...They are looking at his attributes, he has multiple assets that can be enhance and developed through playing and training with a higher level player.. As fans you watch a player and judge him on form ,,, scouts will not look at that as a key factor... He has ability and the attributes to play higher, if he makes it higher is any ones guess, but don't be shocked he if gets the chance...

I used to be one that would say our young players are better staying here for a bit longer to learn their trade. But if it was me I'd be off to Derby or Boro in a shot. They are much better places to be right now.

Simply not currently as good as many on here make out. He's shown some potential, but certainly needs another couple of years at this level before any move higher.

He wouldn't get a look in at either club. Friend (boro) and Forsyth (Derby) have the LB position tied down, would be left to rot in the reserves.

I am beginning think SISU's only plan is to reduce operating costs to the bare bones and continue to try and bring on players before selling them on at a profit.

We can forget this 60p in the pound nonsense for re investment in the squad as this will no doubt have all sorts of caveats. So come on SISU state.....HOW MUCH % OF REVENUE WE CAN SPEND ON NEW PLAYERS YES NEW PLAYERS.

Then tell us the revenue figure.

That may well be the case, I'd still be off though.
