He has to go (3 Viewers)

I think it is harder at the moment
I am guessing if the finances were there he would still have fleck in this squad and a couple of his first choice free transfers would now be signed that we would like.

It just think

Jones
Stokes
RCC
Haynes
Turnbull
Stephenson
DKE
Vlad
Reid
Willis
Harries

These are our own players and each year TM will add more.

Because of the finances it takes longer than we wish

But if he gets his playing style at every level and is allowed 4-5 years

It will pay off
His playing style?? Really? I've seen nothing as of yet to indicate he has any kind of tactical superiority over any other league one managers. He built a great team for the 4231 formation in the first few months of last season, then got figured out and was unable to respond or have a back up plan. We've not recovered since. Time after time makes infuriating substitutions that seem counter intuitive.

People are in love with the idea of Tony Mowbray because he's a relatively big name for our club at this point in time, but he's not delivering and that's that.

Just watching Northampton taking the piss on sky and the commentator just said Coventry have had the most shots at them in league1 so the two defence midfielders are not working.

I dont care....i haven't had any confidence in the team since December 2015.

His tactics are questionable at best and his substitutions are ridiculous sometimes.

His signings have been his main cheerleading argument, and even they are only about 50% successful.

Yes his general philosophy seems to be in the right ballpark, but it's not enough as a manager.

He has to go unfortunately

And who are we bringing in?

If Giggs would like to start his career here (with loads of help from his Man U contacts and the best manager I have seen being his mentor) I would be delighted. But I think Cov is not a club he would come to even if as part of the package he got taken care of by all the mums from the sky blue crew!!

I dunno, someone young and hungry maybe.

Or Cotteril maybe. Dunno...but someone else who has a chance of getting us promoted

Rk your in dream land. The last 30 years proves changing managers every 18 months dont work.
Were you calling for tm head when we were at the. Top of the league at xmas ?

If your so sure we ned to sack tm then please tell me who is available and better that can take this rotten club forward.
Whilst i agree tm has made mistakes pre season in the transfer window for me theres one common dominator in our demise over the past ten years and its not the numerous managers we have had

No it doesn't

We weren't top of the league at Christmas. But no I wasn't. What's your point with that ridiculous question?

I dunno, maybe Steve Cotteril or go a bit rogue and give it to someone early in their career like Adrian pennock. But that's not my job is it?

Is it just the last 10 years? Isn't it more like 16? Were SISU the ones who got us relegated from the premier league?

The funny thing is I think some of his signings have been quite good, but it's what he does with them that worries me. He could manage real Madrid and wouldn't finish in the top two

He'd be top at Christmas and end up finishing outside the top six!

<snip>

Wrong for us to be expecting a 20 goal season tally from any of the above, but if they can all get 10-12 each that would more than fill the gap left by the young Geordie lad and Murphy.

We've scored 2 goals in 6 games. Extrapolating that, we can expect to score a total of 15-20 goals over the entire season. So it seems very unlikely we'll have three strikers each scoring 10-12 goals. They wont all be playing every game and they won't necessarily play all 90 minutes when they do.
