He Scored Yesterday -- get him back and get Clarke out!!!!!! (2 Viewers)

Nor has NLHWC been on for a while, yet both appear together again online like a gay couple in search of a wedding dress.

I just thought that you were both, as even with my somewhat cynical view of human nature and intelligence didn't believe that there could be two people so consistently wrong.

Not sure what I'm wrong about here.

If you can't see that he was effective, even a little bit, as a substitute for the reason I mentioned I can only assume a) that you're blind or b) you sat at home with Grendel waiting for the stats to come through so you could formulate your opinion. You tell me.

Even as a target man, and as the tallest man on the pitch, he looked seriously sub par. He was never signed as a first team regular, chiefly due to age-that he would be beaten consistently in the air by defenders a good few inches shorter is testament to this. In many ways he was like the manager who loved to pick him-high in effort, but absent in ability.

I disagree. What he was brought to the club to do, I thought he did very well. He was only ever intended as an impact sub, like you said, and that he was.

Not referring to Platt, that is just a minor wrong, wouldn't even get into the top 50 of things that you've been wrong about.

No shock then at who the main protagonists are.

If you had your way;

Platt would still be ambling round the pitch doing nothing
Thorn would still be manager and we'd still be losing every week
Honest ray ranson would still be in charge fleecing us for all we are worth.

I think people don't like Clark because it reminds them of previous useless lazy fuckers up front

Adebola, another player all about strength (not skill) who on his day was unplayable - in the Championship anyway.

I do wonder about you lot!

Adebola actually had the ability to hold up possession and score goals, neither of which Platt could do-and more to the point he was still doing it in the Champs as late as last season.
