Longford road was melting yesterday too. It's only just been resurfaced

Sadam Hussain's troops set fire to over 600 oil fields, sending trillions of tons of shit (technical term) into the atmospheres causing a greenhouse effect that traps the sun's rays and causes (or accelerates) global warming.
If you get a chance, watch the news reports and documentary on YouTube.
Truly scary stuff.
But you won't hear it mentioned by the press or politicians, not when you can be blamed (along with farting cows) and taxed to the bollocks.

Where to start with this honestly. As with the vaccines science is not your forte

Has anyone tried to follow the advice given to close all your windows all day long and also curtains in order to keep the house cool ?
I did yesterday. It feels completely wrong but it actually worked although by late evening it felt claustrophobic.
Open your windows about 5am when it's at it's coolest outside to reduce the indoor temperature then trap it in by shutting up shop.
I think if you don't have double glazing this approach might be suicidal.
Here we close the curtains on the windows directly facing the sun (south facing) and leave some windows/back door open. Here when it's 35+ outside but house stays pretty cool at around 20.

We open the windows facing away from the sun but into a road so we get a draught in from the traffic. Came back from school and it was low 20s.

Half day today thankfully

You massively undermined your own argument as soon as you used NASA as a source. NASA (never a straight answer)
Have a long history of false information, (moonlandings in 1969 is just one example, which they themselves admit was BS)

This seems like quite a big story, do you have any more info on why the media wouldn’t report this more?

The moon landing stuff is now in the public domain, you'll find it archived on you tube.
President Obama has said it for a start, that should set you on the right path.

The flat earth theory is now in the public domain. So too is lizard people living amongst us.

Just because something is in the public domain doesn't mean it holds any credence.

The world is full of crackpot conspiracy theories.

Is this it?

Here's a question for you Shmmeee,
Do you believe that man walked on the moon in 1969?
Did NASA send and safely return a crew through the Van Allen radiation belts, pass straight through low earth orbit (where no one has been since) land safely, then return safely, on their first ever attempt, all with a computer system running on 32 kilobytes?

It certainly is, however I don't support flat earth or lizard people. I prefer to follow common sence.
Common sence should raise doubts in any rational persons mind over the moon landings, if you have the time to read up on the subject you can only realise it was a complete load of BS.

Love those who think the "birds aren't real" one - don't realize it's actually a parody taking the piss out of them

And don't get me started on those nutjobs that insist Finland actually exists.

Then there's no helping you 😉

Well I mean it's from wiki but does an ample job debunking the conspiracy

Moon landing conspiracy theories - Wikipedia

Your original point though was about us being able to pin it all on Hussein's burning of the oil fields. Take a look here

You're saying Saddam did that single handedly?

I think @fatso is highlighting an important point here - it’s time that the West stopped giving Iraq such an easy ride. Maybe some sort of intervention might even be necessary?

Even my fridge is struggling. Normally have it on the middle setting but have had to whack it up to MAX to keep the margarine from going runny.
