When people put..."From a United fan" or "...and I'm a City fan" like it's some heroic thing to overstep the football rivalry thing. Another horrific instance of a bad situation that people will flood social media in search of 'likes' and "Yes that is terrible but look at ME. Please give me attention"

Easy to assume comments are for likes but sometimes things transcend football rivalries and it’s ok to show compassion from the other side.

I'm going to register as Purple Bin to express my sorrow from a Coventry FanOn the Leicester forum loads of fans from other teams have signed up simply to post messages passing on their thoughts and good wishes. They're hardly likely to want to fish for likes of FoxesTalk, much more likely they wish to genuinely express themselves. Yes it may be meaningless in terms of what difference it'll make but some Leicester fans on there seemed genuinely pleased that fans from Leeds, Derby, Liverpool, Man U, Rangers, Celtic etc has been in touch. It's like sending a 'in sympathy card's to someone whose family member has died.
"Can't stop thinking about ...... insert tragedy here" really affected me.
