Former Sky Blue player Hermann Hreidarsson says he intends to offer his services to former club Portsmouth for free in their hour of need. The 38-year-old was released by Coventry at the end of last season.
Hreidarsson said: “I intend to do my coaching badges in England in September and October and then I intend to train with Portsmouth.
“I have decided to give them a hand because the club is on the verge of bankruptcy and in need of a new owner. I am going to turn up and ask if they want me or not.
I wish some of our players would play for free. Many of them need to give something back for sure.
