Dunno, she seemed to let all his predecessors do what they like...
Dunno, why do politicians say we instead of "David"?

What a ridiculous comment, no he's weighing up all of the evidence out forward and all statements. And this is about whether sisu agreed to and should pay the £29k, nothing to do with the rent strike.
And my personal view is, if they agreed to pay the £29k then they should pay it.

They tried to buy half the ricoh for £2m. This amount would not even buy half a house on the kenilworth road
seems to be alot of good faith expected for SISU as well :thinking about:
But again that's different to fisher going to sisu's management board and requesting approval.

SHE’S only been at the helm of our ship for about a month or so after ousting Onye Igwe but already Joy Seppala’s influence on our club is telling.

It’s little surprise the boss of Sisu had to step into Igwe’s shoes. He’d done an appalling job of directing the club, leaving us a whole division worse off after £43m of investment. Ouch.
If that £43m had been invested wisely in the beginning, as Ray Ranson had wished, then I’m sure City would have been back in the Premiership now, and well on their way to making Sisu a profit.
But that’s not the way our cookie crumbled (or it was if you’re thinking about Chris Coleman).
Seppala will now have to pull the club out of a real stinking swamp of despair if she’s even to guide us back to the point where we were when Sisu bought the club.
She’s been nothing if not proactive in her first month. Swapping Andy Thorn for Mark Robins would have cost, as would allowing Robins to immediately add to the menagerie of players Thorn had brought in over the summer.

Much is happening behind the scenes too. All the debtors have been paid off (remember, there is no debt to Sisu), and the mortgage on the training ground has been paid.
But most importantly, if rumour has it, Sisu are about to purchase a considerable stake in the Ricoh Arena.
What this says to me is that Sisu are willing to invest. There is no short-term gain to be had from part ownership.
The rewards will only be reaped in the long term, coupled with further investment in the land around the arena and the transport system there.
With a railway station scheduled to open for business this time next year the outlook for the future is looking increasingly rosy. In fact, I might start a campaign to name the matchday train the ‘Sky Blue Express’ and have it painted accordingly.
I for one am grateful for Joy taking the reins and splashing some cash to kick start the club. But if I have one message for her it’s that the most important investment is in what we see on the pitch.
It’s all about the players. And a good start would be to snap up Callum Ball and David McGoldrick on permanent transfers.

Who wrote this article? Fan zone I take it?
Exactly this is not a difficult point. Next MMM will be blaming seppella for hiring Andy thorn - sorry I meant firing Andy thorn.
You're talking about amongst others Mr Rod Lucas and his family who held 998 shares which had been passed down from their late father (a former vice president who had the club crest etched on his headstone). They were the last two percent of the shares that were needed to complete the take over.
Let's stop being silly. Think through this simple question. Do you think Fisher was empowered, or able, to enter the rent strike - and risk the High Court hearing that came thereafter - without Joy's sanction (either implicit, or explicit)?
Just think.....
Comedy Gold today lads nearly choked on my Tuna and Cucumber batch.
The council never took any money out of ACL, all the profit was used to reduce the loan from Yorkshire Bank. It is why SISU did not like their plan of paying of the loan. Their plan is to load debth on to ACL.Somebody mentioned registering the Ricoh Arena as a charity, I believe that ACL should have been registered as such from the beginning, as something with charitable aims rather than just a way for the council to try and swell their own coffers.
Maybe Sisu will try and legally pretend that 'the club'/management made key high profile financial and legal decisions over many months (including hitting National Newspapers and local TV) without Sisu approval - but no one in their right mind believes that do they?
Maybe Timmy will be in the stand soon ................

Given that there is ample evidence that suggests the club acted with zero financial controls previouy if say it would be very easy to argue that was the case in a courtroom. We had an embargo when we did not pay for ward at Bolton - was she aware of that - probably - did she have to approve non payment - unlikely, I'm sure there will be minutes of a board meeting that will reveal the extent of her involvement.

Isn't it just the lease?
Dear god, what a bunch of intolerable bores. Can't believe what some people post. "comedy gold". Really?? "More exciting than a ccfc match". Really??
Some of you need to get a life.

Along with people praying for things etc.
It does get more interest than a match thread / video of highlights thread. Sadly.
