I now understand why the clapping was unusually loudI was in block 10 day right near the Stoke fans. The 97th minute goal was unreal especially after the amount of abuse thrown our way after it went 2-2
Great atmosphere today. I also noticed the sheer amount of kids at the game. Our last 3 seasons have been really important in getting the kids supporting Cov and now it is really showing. 4 years ago I managed to convert my Leicestershire bound nephew who supported Leicester to a Cov fan and now at 13 he is a huge Cov fan and loves it everytime we see the City play especially today.
it was beautiful carnageThe noise after Bobby's goal was the loudest I've ever heard in the stadium.
Admittedly, I've moved from B23 to B13, but fucking hell...it was spine tingling.
The roar on my tv when his shot went in made me envious wishing I was at the match rather than in Bangkok..it was beautiful carnage
The local mjpl fixtures were a real nightmare for the ref Secretary to organise. Changing to give the lads a chance to make the gameI was in block 10 day right near the Stoke fans. The 97th minute goal was unreal especially after the amount of abuse thrown our way after it went 2-2

I said the same yesterdayPure vibes of the play off final season again.
Ha ha! Yep-Bob had his work cut out! I cried off aswell. The local mjpl fixtures were a real nightmare for the ref Secretary to organise. Changing to give the lads a chance to make the game
This came up yesterday-we decided to go in the club shop just for a look (more me really checking out the retro stuffWhat’s really great is the number of tops
Number of kids
Number of women
Number of all ages
Number of non whites
Everyone sings
Everyone screams
So many fans stayed at the end to to applaud the team
Such a great feeling
Back in the UK for the first time in 2 years on Wednesday after a 50 hour return trip from the Philippines , yesterday game made it totally worthwhile. The noise levels were the loudest I have ever experienced going back decades. The roar on my tv when his shot went in made me envious wishing I was at the match rather than in Bangkok..
Just think what it would be like if it wasn’t a soulless bowlBack in the UK for the first time in 2 years on Wednesday after a 50 hour return trip from the Philippines , yesterday game made it totally worthwhile. The noise levels were the loudest I have ever experienced going back decades.
The transformation of the club in the last few years is truly staggering, nearly 2 hours before kick off there were seemingly more people there than under the dark days of Sisu .
We now have the feel of a truly big club, which we never felt like in the 30 plus years we spent in the top flight.
King has his critics I know, but the improvements off the field truly match our success on the field under Robins and now Lampard.
You know now you are at the home of CCFC, and the whole match day experience is a million times better than 10 years ago.Cant wait for next Saturday.
Number of women
as a single bloke, being able to shark for women at a football match is beyond my wildest dreams. King in!
I actually like the quick mix of player tunes, does get the corner goingSuper yesterday - much more like it, helped by the last minute winner of course.
But please to a higher authority, can they sort out the prematch music…. Nothing sums up an intimidating/ferocious home support like the Heartbeat theme tune.
I walked down the east stand yesterday for the first time in ages - usually come from the other way - and had no idea there were loads of bars and food places outside thereBack in the UK for the first time in 2 years on Wednesday after a 50 hour return trip from the Philippines , yesterday game made it totally worthwhile. Watch out for a GAIL's popping up shortly - A sure sign we're on the up.I actually like the quick mix of player tunes, does get the corner going

I guess they are all queueing up to meet you. Trench coat, trilby and Ray-Bans?as a single bloke, being able to shark for women at a football match is beyond my wildest dreams. King in!
No it doesn’t. It stifles the crowd. Bag of shite being blasted out, damping the singing that the fans are trying to get heard. The music man needs to stand in B15 to hear just how loud it is and how the singing is stifled…Just saying.I actually like the quick mix of player tunes, does get the corner going

Did the same yesterday because the weather was so beautiful - just remarkable how different the atmosphere outside the ground is now. They’ve done a great job with it.I walked down the east stand yesterday for the first time in ages - usually come from the other way - and had no idea there were loads of bars and food places outside there

I think the euphoria of being able to watch football (or just be outside!) in the sunshine without wearing a coat or jacket made the whole day feel magic.

Been like it for the last 2 seasons, no through traffic as well, makes for a great atmosphere.
As long as it doesn't rain of course.

Good point regarding the rain. Had a few casual fans with us yesterday so went to Dhllions pre match whereas I'd normally go Hen Lane. Dhllions was buzzing in the sun from 10.30, then went the Cherry Tree after, which was also buzzing
My ST is in the SS on 11 and the crowd follow the songs playing
Only been in Dhillons for the Ipswich game this year, but there were a fair few away fans there.Do many away fans go into Dhillon's these days?
The roar on my tv when his shot went in made me envious wishing I was at the match rather than in Bangkok..
Sadly it looks like normal service is resumed next week. The difference from freezing your bollocks off a few weeks ago, to getting your legs out on a Saturday morning is chalk and cheese.
The roar on your TV depends on what you set the volume at
