The players can make it happen when they go forward - too much pitter patter at the back - nothing decisive - when we are going forward the crowd respond
We seriously need work on our home atmosphere after conceding a goal or on the back foot.

Tbf the opening 5 minutes was load but the team concede after 4 minutes. It works both ways.
27K in there today and we get served up dross
Not entirely. Blocks 11-17 seems to generate a lot of noise when we are on the up. There have been moments but not the same as last season or the season before. It will get better. The atmosphere is shite when we are winning too.
It runs a lot deeper than what's on the pitch. We've grown in numbers but it's ruined our atmosphere. The South Stand should be our vocal end but instead it's full of tourists and families. Cardiff took the piss as did every other club this season and our own fans stand back and don't reply.
It’s not far wrong is it? They have to do their bit. We've turned into the clubs we used to take the piss out of.
I remember our fans laughing when Sunderland fans used to blame their team for shite support.
Fancy sending them to United! They need anyone but them.Fuck me get a grip.
Watched plenty of shit in the last 50 years many shit seasons with no atmosphere.
If you can't take it fuck off watch utd.

Yeah completely agree. Sadly while people want the fans to kick start the atmosphere, the players have to show desire on the pitch to get people involved.when was the last time we were winning at home? Luton and that was last min before that it was Sheffield Wednesday and that was almost 2 months ago
The team have given us nothing to shout about. Only real time was Oxford and atmosphere that night was great
we’ve probably been winning in 70 mins at home all season. that’s embarrassing
The atmosphere has got much worse and is now poor, but even if it was alright i’d still want getting rid of the drum. Need organic chant creation, as I say it’s the same songs on and on and for too longMassively disagree personally. It's same at away games without a drum. Generally very quiet these days.
To the tune of ‘ you’re gonna get your fucking head kicked in’?Need organic chant creation
I thought the same earlier, it’s like being back in the drab Coleman or Adam’s era.Today felt like the old Ricoh atmosphere of a decent crowd with a poor team coming back

Wouldn’t surprise me if we’ve been winning in 70m all season…when was the last time we were winning at home? Luton and that was last min before that it was Sheffield Wednesday and that was almost 2 months ago

The only way is up.Other than Blackburn - how many home games have we actually led in (not including stoppage time winners) since Leeds last season................
Our home stats since Leeds are appalling....
Problem is the loudest and easier songs to sing were for players who have left. Not entirely. Blocks 11-17 seems to generate a lot of noise when we are on the up. There have been moments but not the same as last season or the season before. It will get better.
You do realise there are a number of old threads on poor atmosphere? The person responsible for that is the owner who has demotivated everyone
Few things have changed which has affected the noise. Lack of ‘iconic’ players to generate excitement, always going a goal down and away support being too far away. Our tribal, backs against the wall, noone likes us attitude has been eroded from all angles. The team is not ‘one’ and neither are we. Get that feeling back and it will change- we’re the same people aren’t we!

Home form has been poor for a long time. It's gonna have an effect obviously.

Tip toe through the west end them were the daysTo the tune of ‘ you’re gonna get your fucking head kicked in’?
In the lead for 96 minutes in home games since then, with Blackburn making up 79 of them. That’s fucking abysmal.
If we don't sell Binks, Thomas, Joel and Kitching I ain't going back next season either.
I agree. There a few things I think you can put it down to.It’s got noticeably worse the last two years.
People going into block 15 and the like to savour the atmosphere but adding nothing to it therefore diluting it.
