Hope we lose every game... (1 Viewer)

Haha. you lot really are 'loyal' aren't you?! a bloody hedge fund's dream. All the best lads. See you when we have some owners with some ambition or morals. You can all bore me with stories of how you are better fans than me then because you blindly bank rolled a global hedge fund in their quest to recoup their investment.

There is loyal and there is hoping every game is lost. There are plenty of hardcore people on here who have been up and down the country protesting about SISU, I can't remember any of them saying they hope we lose every game.

Can you explain how my season ticket is bank rolling a global hedge fund?

Most have a point when they realise they are having the piss ripped out of them, it just doesn't always happen at the same time. Some spend their lives not knowing at all and that's fair enough....

....whilst this regime is in place. Very sad state of affairs....

Not been on here or to the Ricoh for ages. Ex-season ticket holder. Haven't known when or whom we have been playing this season. It's just too much now. When I see our league position and that we have lost again in the Media etc, I think, 'good!'.

I want these horrible hedge fund bastards to lose all of their money and fail miserably asap. Supporting City is not about money or success, it's about identity, pride and community. something that our current owners have strangled out of CCFC to the point where I don't recognise it or identify with it anymore.
If the only way to get rid of these leeches is in non-league then I hope it comes sooner rather than later. just want my club back.....
A very good post.

If only our 'super fans' could realise that CCFC are SISU and that the club we all supported are long gone.

How are SISU taking all of my money though?

ALL of your money? Unless you get paid very little (I presume you work) they are not. They are however getting the money you spend on tickets. Does this really need explaining to you...

How are they getting my season ticket money and not CCFC? If you can explain to me how the money I spent hasn't gone on paying to run the club, wages etc etc and has gone to SISU then I'd be seriously considering it next year.

It would be good if you can explain it.
Oh dear... you're even more naive than I realised! This is the same as asking how Bill Gates gets money from people buying Microsoft products.

So you aren't going to explain then?

The difference is surely that Microsoft make shit loads of profits? If CCFC were making billions of profits a year I'd agree.

Right on cue here comes Timmy's mate.
Thought it a fair point myself.

OP cares so much no more season ticket etc...& came on here to post.

Start applying the same amount of effort to unite other fans Torch' - you never know...you might become the people's champion

...onwards & upwards PUSB

You are adding value to a company that SISU own.

So it isn't bank rolling then? You said they get money from my tickets, how? I have paid my money to CCFC for a season ticket, how does that money go to SISU like you said?

I reckon that would be the best advert for NOPM, I am surprised nobody has come out with some decent facts and stats about how much per season ticket goes to SISU etc. I am sure more people will be boycotting if they can see how their money is going to SISU and not CCFC.

Really? How so? In the last year Gates was the largest shareholder in Microsoft and also a director his salary made up $250K of his $11.5bn income that year.

So how much do you think the shares in Otrium are currently worth?

They would be a lot less if you lot stop helping SISU cling on to a dead horse. The sooner CCFC is put out of its misery the sooner we can move on and start supporting A Coventry team again. In what ever form that is.

Get off this forum you utter twat.

We all hate SISU but wanting CCFC to lose every game whilst they are in charge? What is that going to achieve?

So are you going to say how my ticket money is going to SISU or not? People keep making these statements but don't seem to say how.

It is easy enough to give it the "open your eyes" type crap, so why not explain it so people can understand also?

"put out of misery", why not just go and support Cov Utd or Sphinx then?

You can go and support another Coventry team now if you want, nobody is stopping you. So again how much are the shares in Otium currently worth in your opinion? In my opinion share value only increases when a company is performing well.

He said that ticket money goes to SISU, that's a completely different thing to share value anyway.

I suppose the benefit of having people like you around is that our capitalist system can thrive. We all need a mug to take money off. :)

But you aren't saying how the ticket money is going to SISU?

It is all well and good calling others mugs, but you are the one making these statements but then not actually backing them up.

If it is so blindingly obvious that anybody who doesn't know is a mug, please share how my ticket money goes to SISU and not to CCFC.

They are however getting the money you spend on tickets

So if your ticket money is spent on maintaining CCFC you are paying the bills on behalf of SISU. That is money they no longer have to pay themselves, which means they have more money in their pockets.

Well, everywhere we go he tends to want a football shirt, he has draws full of them. Hope you win!

To be fair, I've purchased a Man City top in the 90s as well as some Swindon shorts and socks, also in the 90s.

8-0 down after 5 mins Torch including 2 WM deflected OGs. I then orchestrated a comeback of epic proportions to draw on 60 mins. Letter in the post to MV...

So my money isn't going to them then is it like you tried to say? It is going to the running costs of CCFC. I am glad you cleared that one up.

And you are calling other people mugs? It's ok though, if you keep saying SISU are taking the ticket money enough people might believe you and not expect you to back it up and just then start repeating it.

Absolutely. Which will again confirm that SISU are not at all interested in improving our football club. They are simply letting it run its course. A slow and painful death with you lot funding it.

Money from customers goes into running a business shock.

So, you have said SISU get the ticket money which you can't explain and then compared CCFC to Microsoft. Great advert for boycotts when you try and repeat it to anybody with an ounce of sense.

It is almost as if you don't know what you are talking about and are just repeating something you have heard somebody else say.

so in the hypothetical situation that nobody gave the club any money they would be able to simply cut the budget to the point where we run just off solidarity payments and advertising revenue it will still be our fault for funding sisu. you're not an intellectual are you.

I did explain it. Unfortunately I can't take you back in time and give you an education so you understand it.

No, you haven't explained how the money I give to CCFC goes to SISU like you claimed.

It's gone from it takes the share value up to "it means they dont need to put the money in" but you haven't said how my ticket money goes to SISU? All you have done is confirm that my money is going into the running of CCFC which is what I believed originally.

Are you really preaching about education? After you have compared CCFC to Microsoft?

You should probably just stick to social media or the telegraph website, if you put #SISUOUT then you can get away with posting stuff and not having to actually explain what you mean.

The second SISU have to start paying out their own pockets to keep us going they will be out of here. They are not stupid.

The sooner people realise that the result of both scenarios, boycotting or not, will be the death of CCFC. One however will be a lot quicker and we can start rebuilding.

Why do you keep saying "the sooner people realise" things, but you can't back them up at all? Maybe people don't realise because you can't explain?

You said my ticket money goes to SISU, you haven't actually explained how it does.

Using your theory, they would have gone last year then when they put some money in wouldn't they?
