As it looks like relegation is on the cards and we'll be playing fourth tier football next season is you're mindset one of anger or just resigned to the inevitable ?I've been through the lot myself but until our crap owners go what can we do ? So is it take it on the chin or join in lobbing flares !

Haven't been for weeks but that probably covers three games.
Am planning on going on Tuesday, but If a) It kicks off b))we're taking a hammering I will just stroll out as I don't want a criminal record and my blood pressure just won't take it.
After that I have March 11 pencilled in V Bradford as grandson is having second stab at Mascot in what should feel like our natural home.
Apart from that I don't intend putting myself through it and was having second thoughts re next week.

Give the Millwall game a miss then Wingy as it may be lively !

Been through the whole range of emotions, pretty much accepted the inevitable relegation now. Have read a lot on here about the rights and wrongs of the protests, can see both points of view. To be honest I don't know what to do, peaceful protest has its uses but doesn't generally make the national media, however the more radical stuff does, but can put some fans liberties at stake, I've no desire to get arrested and banned. Being banned from going is a lot worse than choosing not to go. Feel bloody helpless really.

I've been resigned to the inevitable for a while but I think my anger levels are about to get hiked up by the transfer news (and what it may imply for the future, if there is one).

It's all very frustrating! What are we supposed to do on Saturdays next season if not support our football club?

Made the decision that I don't care a while ago. Still trying to trick myself into believing it. I'm up and down on it.
There's more important things in life so I'm not about to risk anything.

The big one for me though is the phrase 'it's only a game'. A couple of years ago I'd bite your nose of if you said that to me. But it is only a game really isn't it.

Still 100% on England games though. Even qualifiers.

Is your dad still staying away ?

I'm resigned that we are down. Tried kidding myself for a few weeks but realised on Saturday that we aren't anywhere near staying up. I was pretty low Saturday night as reality finally overtook blind optimism.
Having said that, If we can get a couple of new faces through the door tomorrow.....:emoji_fingers_crossed:

That's what happens when you're a football fan you get down but when you see a chink of light it lifts you. But sadly I think it's curtains for us.

I am not a season ticket holder because I spend a fair amount of time out of the country, I was going to get a 12 match package but decided against it because of the absolute rubbish on show. I go with my son which is great for father son bonding, he is 19 and even he appears to be giving up, he was adamant that he was going to the semi final but he has even cooled on that idea...he sums up the younger fans here...they don't have that much money and he may as well go and get pissed on a Saturday night and enjoy spending his money rather than throw it away trying to support something that is almost unsupportable atm...sad sad times indeed

I am angry, I ask myself several questions, I can only assume the answers to.
Imho, Who hired this fucking evil jerk Fisher ?
I assume JS,
What knowledge of football club management has she ?
I assume sweet fuck all, after all we've had nine years of one useless tosspot after another.
The vindictive method of reducing OUR proud club goes on.
Why have those FA/FL arseholes not acted upon what to tens of thousands has been
GROSS DERELICTION OF DUTY.
I will not be surprised when 'all hell breaks loose',
to me Fishface, in his public utterances, has proven that he is an obsequious conceited bigot, who hates Coventry City fans.
Imho, if he had any balls he would have stood up to Seppala.
The message to the lot of them is 'YOU REAP WHAT YOU SEW'.
Coventry City fans will be here long after these megalomaniacs have departed.
Devout christians - my arse,

I was resigned to relegation pre season.

But with all going on I rapidly hate the sport as a whole, just waiting for this season to wind up so I don't have to go anymore whilst SISU are here, season ticket will be relinquished had one since I was 5 (minus the 6F season)
Gutted I will have to give my lads up after 1 season, (still too young to but was keeping his seat warm) dreamt of the day taking him with my Dad but that may never happen.

And to be honest sort of waiting for SISU to end the club so I can walk away from the sport I have no interest in supporting AFC Coventry or any Phoenix club.

I'm swinging between anger that our club has been run into the ground and sadness at the whole sorry state of affairs.
I still hold hope that we will rise again but that hope is diminishing daily.
If we g down, (and I fully expect us to), I am convinced it will be followed by another relegation out of the league unless something changes.

We will only rise again once Sisu are gone. It is abundantly clear that there is no desire or drive or motivation to propel this club forwards and only an inclination to let it just tick along.

George Hudson asks who hired Tim Fisher? what knowledge does Joy have of football club management?
The sad fact, not my opinion, is that you do not have to have any experience or knowledge to buy a club, just funds and no criminal record(or at least not in the UK).That is the FL policy.
Our owners bought the right to hire any idiots they wanted(You can't say they didn't succeed in getting the biggest idiots on the marketplace over the past 9 years)
I actually have less of an issue with the on the field situation as they are just a reflection of the abject management of our club by the owners.
Many clubs face or have faced bad management in the boardroom so that is not something new, I think what is unique to CCFC is that it appears our club's mission statement is now " As long as it costs us nothing who gives a shit? and actually we don't give a toss anyway"
If I had any say in it I would be contacting the fans groups, SBT etc... and trying to build bridges and create some positive vibes in these desperate times and seek to develop a dialogue with the fan base that is increasingly angry and disenfranchised.
Somehow, inexplicably, I feel that Tim Fisher is actually fulfilling the mandate given to him.

The owners have no interest in what we as fans feel or say. They have no interest in Coventry City FC being a going concern just a break even spreadsheet tax loss for them...
When they 1st come in a bought us to save us from administration I was elated wow how short lived was that but never in my wildest dreams did i ever think they would sink us this low

Agreed, Steve. I think we all did. I feel extremely angry and wish ill on those who have done this to our club, but I can do absolutely nothing about it whatsoever, and that is what is so frustrating. It's a bit like someone has hit one of your own kids : you have it on video but no one whatsoever in authority will do anything about it. Not as intense or as serious, I know, but we can all see what people are doing and there's nothing we can do about it.

Resigned to it unfortunately, it was predictable at the start of the season. The fleetwood game gutted me as that was a must 3 points and we didn't turn up so for me that game apitomises the state of the team. The off field stuff has been slowly getting worse but after the stadium loss nothing has suprised me.

Just heartbroken that for year on year we couldn't enjoy our football due to the shit we have had to put up with. Even a potential trip to Wembley will feel bittersweet given our pending relegation

season ticket holder - going tuesday - but after this season not until theyve gone
if i could get an amnesty from a criminal prosecution, I would happily do whatever it takes to get rid of the cancer from our club

The problem is, will there be anything left when they have gone!!

Yeh the writing was on the wall in the first game away at Swindon
We left early it was dire and if possible has got worse as the season has gone on

I honestly think all this is making me ill as I went to bed fed up and woke up the same.I try and remain stoic and think sod it what can you do ? But then I can get angry and think if it kicks off I'll join in ! Yes it's only a game and worse things can and do happen, but when its a big part of your life it must have an effect on you.

Think the nail in the coffin was when Venus took over and said the squad wasn't good enough for League One.

And of course he was right.

Don't let it get you ill mate!

This is one of the reasons I have said that although it isn't a protest and although it won't get SISU out that it should at least be a massive sky blue party at a game. Even if there is nothing to celebrate at the match it could be celebrating CCFC.

Good example is some of the threads on here, people can bicker all day every day but then there is the odd thread where people have a bit of a laugh and a joke and get on when they would otherwise be bickering about some shite. It doesn't make SISU go, but it's a better feeling.

I did! and said so from the off. I joined this forum nearly 5 years ago, and as far as I know only 2 of us warned the fans what would happen. The other poster very rarely posts anymore, but his pseudonym will explain it all.... NLHWC= Non League Here We Come..... We told you so!
