Honestly think people are underestimating the damage this will do to us, especially with no obvious return in sight.
Attendances will show, that despite people thinking it’s all keyboard warriors, where we play our home games matters to some, to the point they won’t go. For some, that’s their tipping point.
For others it would be a name change to Warwickshire F.C., for others it will be something else, including on the field performances.
The last move caused us to lose a lot of fans, especially some from the next generation. this one will be the same and the longer it goes on without an end in sight, the more damage it will do.
I’d love us as a fan base and as a city to stand together, but it simply won’t happen
#theywillgotowembleythough
A friend of mine tweeted this morning he won't go to any home games from now on. The tweet got many likes, but the truth is we used to sit together at the Ricoh Arena and he stopped going back in 2012. Yet, he's making out like he has never missed a game since day dot.
My point being, a lot of people kicking off on social media probably wouldn't go if we were playing in Coventry, Birmingham or in their back garden.
Yeah they do seem to shout the loudest. Like when we were at sixfields and people giving it sob stories about how it's ruined their lives and then they don't bother after one game back.A friend of mine tweeted this morning he won't go to any home games from now on. It will do as much or as little damage as we allow. If as many people as possible go to Birmingham the damage will be minimal. If a boycott gains traction there will be a large amount of damage.Honestly think people are underestimating the damage this will do to us, especially with no obvious return in sight.

I'll be taking my little one to their first ever game next season and it will be at blues. She doesn't care where they play, she just wants to watch them and sing some songs
I struggle to see a way back.Going belly up feels inevitable as ever now.
Parent to son / daughter said:You're not going to the match
She’ll have a brummy accent come May.I'll be taking my little one to their first ever game next season and it will be at blues. She doesn't care where they play, she just wants to watch them and sing some songs
Takes one to know one.Yeah they do seem to shout the loudest. Like when we were at sixfields and people giving it sob stories about how it's ruined their lives and then they don't bother after one game back.
Attention seeking c*NTS.
lets face it, the attendances will be less than half that, because some people have principles and don’t want to travel 20 miles up the road every other weekend. Most people can understand that.Going belly up feels inevitable as ever now. We’ve been pushed onto thin ice, and it will break sooner or later. The shit has hit the fan. Whether people like it or not, the majority of the 10000 regulars won’t be attending St Andrews. Think this move is too much of a big careless gamble, resting on Wasps going pop or an imaginary stadium.
Rather that and her team have a future instead of being held to ransom by a bunch of people from LondonShe’ll have a brummy accent come May.
The first song you need to teach her
F.... the wasps
F.... SISU
F...the council and the Villa too
For planning only up to the border but they have a say if it impacts the cities infrastructure. How far does Coventry council have a remit for, do they cover leamington / Warwick ?
I'd love to see the bit about the landowner confirming an agreement to buy Brandon had been reached. For planning only up to the border but they have a say if it impacts the cities infrastructure.
If you recall we were looking at Brandon at one point. CBRE indicated an agreement had been made, the landowner confirmed (without mentioning the football club by name), Rugby council also confirmed they had been talking with the club. Then it was all off and the next thing we heard was Fisher at a Rugby council meeting saying any new stadium site must be beyond the influence of CCC.
Was a comment from GVA to the Telegraph. Suspect it is still on their site if you want to search for it.I'd love to see the bit about the landowner confirming an agreement to buy Brandon had been reached.
I have searched for it, and haven't found it, hence I was asking if you could point me towards it. TaWas a comment from GVA to the Telegraph. Suspect it is still on their site if you want to search for it.
The point I was making was just because a site is over the border doesn't mean it is beyond the reach of CCC's influence.
I’ve just come through a big operation for cancer been through the mill been off work 11 weeks just had the all clear after 5 years of shit.
It’s a game of football ffs put it into perspective. My blood pressure was 109/189 on Wednesday when I saw the surgeon for the news. My daughter wants to go I’m not fussed but I’m going to take her.
