I used to routinely put a few quid on Elliott Ward to score for us, he had the usual centre back odds as nobody seemed aware that he was our penalty taker. Magical days.

I once bet on us to lose 2-1 (correct score) away at QPR in Jan 2011 at the bookies in the ground. Sure enough we lost 2-1 and I was the only bloke queuing up to collect winnings, the guy thought I was absolutely crazy to be betting against my own team.

Still, £50 says I’m not crazy.

Never bet on City!! Although this season is a one off :)

I have never done a real bet ever. It does not appeal to me.
I have been to a casino a couple of times and that was ok.
However, I am still waiting for the Villa fan to pay me £10 when we had a bet on Villa going down last season.

80/1 treble?

What bookies does he use

Odds on BTTS & a winner are decent for example just done a test run.

West Ham v Sunderland BTTS & home win

Southampton v Chelsea BTTS Chelsea win

Stoke v villa BTTS Stoke win

95/1 not too unrealistic bets.

Oh yeah he will get odds on a win and btts

I read it as one win and 2x btts as a 3 fold

I.e Chelsea win, cov fleetwood & Leicester Norwich btts

My bad

The best bookie for anyone in the UK is Bet365, just for the amount of games and sports the site provides inplay any serious gambler will tell you that. If you bet mainly just mainstream English football use oddschecker and find the value and have money in multiple accounts, it will help you make more money than just betting lazy. If you have had 365 accounts limited like myself and don't have any other sites to place Asian handicaps on etc use BetVictor, PaddyPower and Marathon.

Skybet is also a good bookie and good value can be found on Betfair exchange.

One thing I will say also is don't cash out bets as long term you will not profit as much as you should hence the reason Mr Winston and co plug cashing out to the mass market, as in affect you are betting against yourself and the bookies make millions of failed cashouts a year. Also I would advise to never withdraw your money as this helps in building your role, depositing £20 a weekend and withdrawing if you win a £120 accy every 2 months will not make you profit, build a steady role and adjust your stake size on your bets accordingly and finally don't bet when you're bored or drinking you will take bets that have no value or edge against the bookmakers and will only lose.

Goodluck guys

Lol who are you?!!!

I hear Asian handicap is how to make good money. Don't think it'd on Ladbrokes

Use Bet365, very easy app to use. Have a maximum of £5 per week spread over a number of bets. All just for fun. The 'money back' in play bets are an easy way to make a few quid if you work it right.

However, their info is sometimes out of date:

Ben Turner is 10/1 to score tomorrow
Lateef Elford-Alliyu also 3/1

Haha what do you mean who am I? I'm just trying to help Nick out. And you are correct Ladbrokes don't offer Asian handicaps inplay a lot of the time but do pre game for future reference!

I use bet365 nowadays find the app easy to navigate and decent odds.

Wish they'd never come up with cash out ever since I took £80 at 4-0 away at Crewe this season on the hour mark having bet £5 on 5-0

Same odds put 20p on 7-0 & 7-1 both 500/1!

Last of the big spenders!

but first of the big winners if the miracle happens, today could be a bad day if we lose as I have backed us to win, arma to score and to score 2 or more, plus Murphy to score and cargill to score all separate bets and both teams to score, city to win 3v1 and more than 2.5 goals.

got a bit carried away with my other bets came to £38

Ladbrokes in store are very good. Their machines are just as good as betting online.

Most of the high street stores have jumped on the bangwagon to add machines.

I used to play the bookie on Betfair regularly for a number of years. I'd put up offers for and against every possible outcome and wait to be lifted. It was a very nice little earner but then I lost heavily on the World Cup final and decided to close out - as my wife was fed up with the time it was taking. Still had a very good return from the £20 I put in initially.
