Who owns the stadium where they have ground shares? Is it a joint ownership between the rugby club and the football, or just one side owns with the other renting or neither side having ownership and both renting off a third party?

There is no way in hell the club will agree to have a ground share where the rugby club owns the stadium.

Wycombe Wanderers & Wasps!

(Spoke to a WW fan earlier...they hate sharing with a rugby club.)

I don't know, how many clubs share a football team?

With the mood I'm in it better be funny.

Rochdale, Doncaster and Halifax share with RL clubs, I believe.

Notts County share with Nottingham RFC. Bristol Rovers shared with Bristol RFC until last season, but the rugby club now share with Bristol City.

Hundreds of the buggers. Wrexham shared with the RL team, Newpoert COun ty co-exist at Rodney Parade... Dave Whelan took over Orrell of course, and when that didn't work out evicted the club and redeveloped the ground as Wigan's training ground.

As I mentioned on a previous thread, the football teams mentioned all have primacy...an EPL rule.

The idea of RFC Franchise owning Ricoh but not having primacy sounds incredible. Meaning...CCFC could never play in the Prem at Ricoh.

ps Wingy : Saracens have moved to Barnet from Watford.

Why is it incredible? Football, including the FL, requires primacy, rugby doesn't. Seems like a non issue to me. Besides its not as if the primacy rule was enforced when we were at Sixfields, if it was we would have played on Saturdays and Northampton would have had to move their games.

It would be best to stick with rugby union sides as the rugby league season is march to October so there's little overlap.

It's also important to note how poor our pitch was after having the Olympics, then having a good cup runs. The pitch had taken a lot of games and you couldn't half tell.
