A hypothetical question for those not interested in England, if City make it to the premier league and 1 or 2 of our players get called up would you then be interested?

I’m going to join the NBA forum to tell them all I’m not bothered. You want in?
Weird response. You seem to be getting a bit uppity. Thread is in the CCFC section.

Not really. Would wish them well but wouldn't watch. Same as I wouldn't watch USA or Jamaica currently.

I just get my back up a little bit about people saying they don’t care. People are more than entitled to not give a shit but so much of supporting England is people telling you they don’t care about it.

It’s like when you talk about football and the rugby lads have to tell you about how much better rugby is and football is all wendyball.

Let people enjoy things.

Love watching the city. Always have a season ticket, son and grandsons as well. All massive city fans. But not really interested in the euros.
In fact I booked a holiday to Mexico on Thursday, flying out Wednesday so will miss the next 2 weeks.
So the jocks will be home, and a fair chance we will be as well with Southgate picking the team.
England have simply become predictable and boring.

You might need something to watch during the hurricane/cyclone season in Mexico. Check the weather ⛈️

Been there many times, sometimes rain sometimes not. Hurricane season is usually starts around middle of August.
Nice when it does rain, helps the humidity.
Usually there in winter, but sneaking one in cos the freaking summer is shit.

Presumably I'm the only one on here who has zero interest in England and international football in general?

I'm another.

I remember 2006.... i was 24 years old and football was life.... we looked at going to Germany, but the costs and no guarantee of tickets etc, ended up going to Greece for almost the entire duration of the tournament instead, and had a fantastic time, watching every game, and it was one of the most memorable holidays i've had.

20 years on and I'm just not particularly fussed about it now. For me its not a dig at international football..... the changes in the "modern game", and my own sporting pursuits coming to the fore, just mean i'm not as invested in football (although club football still does, and always will, mean more to me than international).
