Going to Dusseldorf Friday got tickets if 1st or 2nd, back Monday so hopefully won’t finished 3rd! Any advice on best bars cheers

Just head to Altstadt. Every other building is a bar it's great.

The bars on the river, just outside the Burgplatz fan zone are good.

If you like IPAs and craft beers, go to Holy Craft. Great bar that is.

Everyone has been really friendly and it's been a chilled atmosphere.

I’m in the Altstadt now. Just a nice area for having a drink and some food if you want.

Dreading the travel from Duisburg to Cologne on Tuesday. It’s going to be an absolute nightmare.

Shocked to hear that as i know who that is. Pretty sure he's good mates with CJ and travelled to England games with him in the past. Just noticed he's deleted his Twitter account too.
Heartbroken he has done this. Saddens me that he has got himself into such a mess and caused so many problems for so many people. He’s family to me and l wish he could’ve come to one of us and maybe this wouldn’t have happened.

With regards to the tournament it’s been a shit show for transport. So many cancelled trains and cities not able to cope with a mass influx of people. The locals seem unsurprised about it and are saying it’s been normal for some time. “DB is slang for 1 hour late”. Dortmund, Gelsenkirchen and Frankfurt have been disorganised chaos in the games I’ve been to. Having said that Hamburg was spot on yesterday. No issues at all getting to the ground and back. Miguel Delaney (take a look at his posts on X) had a different experience last week so hopefully they’re learning as they go. Away from that it’s been a great week or so so far. Great people and experiences. Nothing beats following your country away.

Where are you tonight LG?

Fan parks full, so we are drifting around by the river.

Got the train home and watching it there. Had a similar day, went up the tower and had a few drinks in that little deck chair bar before a couple and dinner in the old town.

Thought I’d leave it to the Germans and Scots tonight though, loads of Spanish out there too.

I’m getting the train from Leipzig to Cologne at 10ish on Tuesday arriving at 15.15. After the game I’m getting the 00.15 train back to Leipzig that gets in at 7.30! Long day but hopefully better than Frankfurt. Transport was fine there but obviously the display wasn’t. Can book first-class trains with a match ticket anywhere in Germany for 40 euros which is outstanding value.

Must've been close then, as we were on the deckchairs from about 12 until 7pm.

0015 train might be optimistic if getting back to the town centre is anything like Gelsenkirchen or Frankfurt pal.

Yeah very conscious of this, thanks. Going to leg it at full time and run to Müngersdorf S-Bahn and hop on the train there. Train is 00.30 so should be OK hopefully.

We used the lime scooters in Frankfurt and made it back into the city centre in 20 min on them. A decent option though at 54 it was my first go on one 😂

Loving it so far. Been to Essen, Gelsenkirchen, Frankfurt, Hamburg and now en-route on the ale to Düsseldorf.

Met many Cov fans out here that I’ve never met before, made plenty of friends from across the football pyramid and partied with the Danes in Old Town Frankfurt.

Roll on Cologne tomorrow. Hoping I will be back out for the Quarter finals - providing Dear Gareth doesn’t carry on with these cuck tactics - the only disappointment of a great trip!

Albanians bring the party in Dusseldorf today. Huge numbers.
Struggling to think of a set of fans that I’ve seen dominate a crowd as much as them. In Dortmund last week I reckon they must’ve had 50-60,000 there. Italy had 4000 tops.

Going out for the semis- earliest it looks like I can get there as it stands.

About a 0.01% chance we'll still be in at this rate, but I'll just adopt another country if we aren't. Not a clue about getting tickets either, but that's another thing I'll worry about later.

Impressive. I've done that journey but only one way!

Only taken in one match, Poland v Austria in Berlin. Been to so far Prague, Dresden, Erfurt, Pottsdam and Weimar. Today in Quedlingburg and Magdeburg. Easy enough on trains but they aren't up to the high standards of punctuality in other years.
