That was never a penalty and a booking to rub salt in. Kane momentum hits is foot in follow through. Not given in real time.

Another example of var spoiling game, its meant to overturn clear and obvious error, that was not clear and obvious error.

And yet again everyone has a different view, which means you can't be making that decision on a slow motion replay - if the referee hasn't given it , play on

It doesn't matter what anyone thinks, the Referee gave the Penalty and that's all what matters. 🤔

Take the headline with a huge pinch of salt but it makes me feel a little better about cheering a villa player scoring knowing that he learnt everything he knows from Carl baker and Clive Platt.

Thinking of join the England Supporters club with the hope of maybe getting some tickets for Euro 2028. Any expert on here think it's worthwhile or is it a closed shop unless I go everywhere (which I won't)? Perhaps @CJ_covblaze can advise?

It runs on 2 year cycles with the next one about to start, basically the run up for the 2026 WC. If you’re looking at 2028 then probably look at joining the back end of 2025/early 2026. I’ve done enough England home games during the current window to be guaranteed tickets for every Euro 24 England match apart from the 1/4 final which we secured anyway. Just got Cat 3 tickets for Sunday.

It's been fairly easy to get hold of tickets for most games in Germany without this, hasnt it?

Yeah I mean without being a Supporters Club member, you get every opportunity to apply for tickets.

2 rounds of balloting, then general sales. There were tickets available on general sale for every game on the day it opened up. Hard to get in first admittedly, but it could be done.

If you join now anything you earn from this point on will be valid for 2028. It goes Euros to Euros and WC to WC. Even if you’re not going to go to any away games it’s worth signing up as the 75 quid is soon paying for itself in cheaper home end tickets. If you want to sit next to someone else they’ll have to also join the ESTC as the sales windows are different.

Depends on how you look at it. We’ve paid:
Groups: 30€
R16: 50€
QF: 60€
SF: 75€
F: 95€

Due to our cap levels we knew that’s the price we’d be paying. If we weren’t so high we’d be spending a lot more.

I've been in ESTC for about 12 years and done 7 tournaments. You really need to go to every home game to get a good chance of guaranteed tickets. If you can squeeze the odd away game in all the better. I'd youre like CJ and do every game you get the chance of cheaper tickets. If you're only going to do a few games a season probably not worth bothering.

If you’re intending to go to Wembley games and away games in qualifying and nations league then ESTC is the way to go but you’ll end up spending thousands through the years with the result of cheaper tournament tickets.

If you just want tickets for finals then you can pick them up through UEFA/FIFA or through the most on resale sites. It’s expensive but if you’re not following regularly then you’re saving by not having to take a few days off work to go to Finland on a random week in the autumn.
