A quick true story about our atmosphere:

There was a lad sat next to us yesterday (his dad was in a different block as they couldn’t get tickets together).

They live in Ireland and have no connection to Coventry but were over at the NEC for a trade show a couple of weeks ago and got tickets to Cov v Birmingham as something to do. They couldn’t believe the atmosphere and loved it so much that they got tickets for yesterday and flew in from Ireland to be there. The young lad had even bought a Cov shirt and says we’re now their 2nd team.

The looks on the faces of people in blocks 11 and 12 when the Corner kept going was a nice reminder we've got something a bit special going.

Bang on, it’s become trendy to be a Sky Blue again, even in Cov 10 years ago I think the youth were a bit embarrassed to declare their loyalty .

If we don’t go up it’ll be interesting to see what the first home gate next season is. The last couple of games have been some of the best atmospheres I can remember as a City fan. Would be incredible to open the season with 25k+ and carry it on.

Great in it, I am in Bedworth and it is great to see the number of young kids in city shirts.
Guy I was with at game yesterday said exactly the same about Coventry.

Id hope for the same but would be expecting something around 23,000 maybe (which would still be decent i suppose). I reckon alot would depend on what transfer business we do over the summer, feels like a huge window coming up regardless of what league we are in.

It needs to continue. Even if we're playing Peterborough at home first game of the season next season, should be 23k up there continuing the atmosphere. Best in the country for 2 years now.

School holidays. Do one (maybe two) £10 kids ticket with every full price adult. Get people up there first game. Pack it out. Assuming we don't go up. No need for that if we do.

I think the atmosphere before the game has been enjoyed by all who have attended. Not only the volume but the drinking by the stands and the food outlets. Dhillons needs to expand tho have been there twice and it was 20 mins to get to the bar... there should be people walking around selling cans of CCFC beer from a cooler a bit like the shot glass hosts do in clubs.

Great idea selling the drinks outside lets go the whole hog and extend the selling at games inside as well tea people with the hot water cannisters on their back, pop crisps and chocolate at the front of each aisle like cinemas years ago(giving my age away).Increase the take per fan .Hope we build on the experience for the whole family.

They are planning to double the size for next season and open outside the front of the other two units.

Indeed, if they're waiting to see what league we're in they're missing a trick

I'm guessing they are waiting, suggesting to me that if we're promoted they'll scrap the published pricing and put prices up. Will go down like a lead balloon that.

Can't think of any other reason for waiting for the outcome of the playoffs. If that's not the plan, then surely just get them on sale now.

That would go down very poorly

Hopefully it won't happen, just pure speculation tbh. Will probably go on sale tomorrow!

they could if the club get through offer the £500 ticket again and combine with priority Wembley purchase
