It's not nitpicking. You're mocking the Telegraph for fabricating or embellishing the story as it's without foundation; I'm telling you that as he's favourite in the betting - as you mention in your first post - it is with foundation. Our manager is favourite for a vacant role. That's news worthy in the sports section, surely?

Oh and the article doesn't even mention odds, just that it "understands they could go for Pressley"
It's not like they said 'pressley emerges as an early bookies favourite"..
