The only down side to this is Preston away replaces Huddersfield at home as our game in hand and we can’t win an argument there.

tosspots? for being upset that their plans have been messed up short notice

obviously people who have forked out and stand to lose money/coming from afar, I have sympathy for and of course their displeasure is justified. I was generalizing the majority of Twitter posters i.e the first comment on the post aka moaning for no reason.

That’s unlucky I suppose. For us it means we can actually go and use our season tickets as midweek games in term time are a non starter.
You knew that you would miss the midweekers when you bought your season tickets though and that's a deal you made with yourself. I'm pretty pissed off because given all the other disruption we'd had this season this one feels unnecessary.

But like somebody else said. Always be winners and losers. I'll enjoy watching on iFollow I guess.

I really didn’t think that anyone would put a negative spin on this, then again there are people who will moan for the sake of moaning. Twitter really is a cesspit of tosspots.
Is that because they disagree with the tosspots on here?

Beg to differ.
Btw I'm not on twatter

just my general opinion of Twitter which is why I tend to stay away from there. It is very much like the Facebook forum which has its fair share of numpties who love to spout hyperbole and endless negativity. The debate on here (on the most part) is far more reasoned.

Or did you mean you begged to differ on ‘there aren’t as many tosspots on here’? 🤣

I think it’s highly likely to be. Do we have any further Saturday slots available? FA Cup 5th round maybe?

I refuse to go to Deepdale again anyway as it’s a guaranteed defeat 😫

It’s one I need to tick off, and I’ve lacked motivation for away days since Cardiff away. Seems daft for me to get back on the wagon for one we are so famously shit at, but still. Midweek will be very difficult.

Most of the people complain about the short notice

I went during our first season after being relegated from the Prem. I think we lost 4-0 and a fan ran on and attacked Hedman. Was a pretty toxic day. Haven’t been back since lol.

I don’t think we’ve played PNE on a Saturday since we’ve been back in the Championship which is annoying as it’s an absolute trek. I’ve got Blackburn to tick off midweek and Swansea on Good Friday.

You never know, it could turn out to be a memorable night and we pick up our first win at Deepdale. You’d be part of an elite club haha.

I didn't know that the first 3 fixtures in August would all be postponed to midweek games because we couldn't sort a pitch out.

It is a sensible decision and I am miffed... I may or may not be a tosspot but that is unrelated to my standpoint on the fixture change.

I think its a no brainer personally

.Statistically more fans attend Saturday games
.Gives us longer to recover V Norwich
.Gives us another full week after Norwich to get Godden Eccles Walker and Fadz closer to the squad or even in it
.Gives us another week of the window to get someone in

Seen a few moaning about train tickets, anyone purchasing an advance ticket at the moment is a moron anyway considering the strikes and limited service every 5 minutes

That was comedy gold! Hedman pooing his pants when confronted by a fan and then giving it the big one when the fan was safely contained by 3-4 stewards 😁

5th round is midweek. Quarter Final weekend we play Blackpool and Preston play Middlesbrough who are already out.

I’ve been twice last year when we lost and 1965 when we also lost and our coach caught fire half way back down the M6 😟
