It’s results that count. Huddersfield man tk
Man looked a better team than us, strong and resilient and not fragile. Everything we aren’t

You have to hand it them, they grind out the results needed. They went 17 games (I think) unbeaten earlier in the season.

I don't banning. I want them off for 5 mins minimum to assess. When their team is under the kosh and they aren't allowed back on, let's see if they do it then

There is meant to be some form of assessment taken place, but it's allowed to take place on the pitch currently. But if a player is genuinely dazed by a poor challenge for example is it then fair on the team to be a man down for 5 minutes while he is assessed?

Add in out of those 4 wins two of them were won right at the death. We just don’t have the technical quality for breaking sides down.

Should have been 3 down after half an hour. Confidence not ability

it’s not though as we need to convert all chances on that measure. Honestly if a neutral was asked which team was in the top 6 without knowing they’d say Huddersfield -we looked like a team trying to punch above our weight and have for weeks.

You don’t win games with our back 3

You don’t win games with O’Hare finishing like he does

A very City performance. Should have scored a couple in that first half. Genuinely thought we were gonna equalise at the end though.

Think Huddersfield were better than they’re being made out on here tbf. They too could have had three first half, decent save from Wilson with his legs and Holmes? very nearly put it in from a tight angle having rounded Wilson.

They stood off us seemingly in the knowledge they could bat most of the balls into the box away and countered to good effect.

Thought we dominated first half. Wilson had nothing to do. Could have been 3-0 up.
2nd half flat as fuck and players heading to the beach.

story of the season. Missed chances at 0-0, then concede, then spend the game chasing.
Thought Kanes contribution today was poor.

Good to see Jones get minutes though.

but that’s bollocks because Huddersfield still would - Huddersfield would take Callum O Hare any day if the week as he creates - they’d run a mile from Hyam and Rose

I thought a few at least one of those chances was in the 2nd half.

It's not like simulation for a penalty though hence why I thought a suspension would he too harsh. Imagine you were on a yellow though. You might think twice.
I think it's worse. By making officials think twice about head injuries they could put players who do pick them up in serious danger.

It's more important than a one off result

I never said get rid of him or get him out of the side. He’s far and away our best attacking midfielder. But he like others is simply wasteful in front of goal.

27 times now we’ve conceded first and a lot of the time it’s after having passed up great chances.

One is generally a sure fire goal... the other is you have to stop play normally not in a goal scoring position.

Not for me. Gyok made a really poor decision on one. I think Rose had a particularly easy chance and Waghorns was probably equal.

Waghorn’s was an excellent save with his toes. But really we could copy paste today many times over the 17 home games.

To coin a phrase it’s ‘flattering to deceive’

As others have said results don't lie
Huddersfield are up there because of their excellent results against other teams in the division
We all know our problem is that apart from Godden and Gyo the rest of the first 11 don't chip in enough goals
