Big critic of Lati, because, well, he’s mostly shit.

But also, when he has been good it’s been at centre back.

I have to believe he can step in and do a decent job. He’s a committed fella and seems a good professional and I want him to do well. I’m willing him to have a man of the match performance! Step up Lats!

EMC although a loss, I think we can cope without for now.
Isn't he better in a 5?

Do you actually take time to read posts first or just blurt out the first slice of fresh gibberish that comes to mind?

I didn't say it wasn't an issue. I said it wasn't a massive blow, which it isn't - certainly not compared to Thomas being out which very much is given who's next in the pecking order.
'Not an issue' and 'Not a massive blow' aren't that far apart are they.

You literally said if Wright doesn't get injured its not an issue. That relies on Wright and Simms staying 100% fit and in form for 8 full games.

If he's out we are significantly weaker

There's only 5 games left?

Our best run of form this season came with Wright/EMC/Sheaf all out. If true it is a blow but if Frank adapts correctly we'll be fine.

My biggest worry is using a 4 with Lati/Binks & DaSilva away from home. It screams 2 goals conceded.

5-3-2 will serve us better. Stay solid and wait for the useless teams to make mistakes which they inevitably will (Swansea away a great example of this)

I can't believe we actually paid money for Binks.
I remember many on this forum lauding the signing as if he is the second coming of Maldini.

He was crap last season and has been crap this season.

Reminds me of Paul Williams in that one thing he did (Williams’ goal vs Tottenham, and Binks pull back leading to the Semi Final penalty) somehow masks the complete incompetence he has as a defender.

Not really, they're two entirely different distinctions.

By me saying it's not a massive blow that's me saying that while there's a negative impact, it's not a catastrophic one. Saying it's not an issue means there's no issue whatsoever.

Thomas being out is a massive blow as there's no replacement apart from Lati and Binks who shouldn't be anywhere a starting XI unless absolutely necessary.

And well done you've just repeated exactly what I just said. If Wright remains injury free I don't think it's much of an issue. That's not to say I don't think it's non-ideal as we'll need rotation in the final stretch. But it's not a catastrophe.

In all seriousness, why do we keep leaking this info on here, and giving the opposition a heads up. I can't believe that opponents don't look for this stuff - you can then adjust your team accordingly. Why would we want to give them a heads up, just for the sake of saying 'hey lads, guess what' on a forum. Genuinely don't get it. Why (especially in our position) would you do it?
might be a ploy

If we as fans can find out information, you don’t think Hull have their own contacts? Football is a very small world
way to miss the point, if the club do not want team news leaking why should it be posted on here?

Who says they don't want it leaking? Could be deliberate leaks 🫡😂

What an entertaining read this was 😁

It would take a very brave manager to choose his team because of what an anonymous person has said on a website full of idiots arguing with each other. Especially if he looks back a bit further and sees people taking the p1ss for him getting things wrong 😂

It's definitely something Lampard will hate.

Let's not forget, this is the bloke involved in Spygate...

Wright out left and Simms through the middle is a change a lot of fans wanted anyway.

Thomas is a big loss, but he’s also not entirely foolproof. He’s prone to errors and poor distribution, so let’s not escalate this to feel like we’ve lost prime Maldini. Lati is a step down, but he’s a solid enough defender and he’s entirely committed so he’ll give a good account of himself.

The starting XI is more than strong enough to win and the bench isn’t as weak as made out, Allen, Paterson, Bassette and Rafa can all change games. Granted to differing degrees, but this is still a step above our play off season bench offensively.

Rafa? Based on what?

I didn’t say it should. But it is, and if we are finding out pre game- Hull 100% already know too
If true, they'll know.
A few years back my mate was on Rooney's coaching staff at Derby
For the FA Cup game, all the noise coming out of our side said we'd rest players.
He was saying no, you're going strong.
We went strong!

why? no one at the club is telling hull our team

if they do find out it would be via the same way we would fund out so if no one actually posted the info or passed it n they would not know

unless you are saying someone at the club is leaking directly to the opposition which is serious
