The could be said for Sakamoto tbf, he does tend to struggle against teams that put 10 men behind the ball. Sakamoto’s lack of a right foot hinders him because he always needs to get onto his left foot before shooting or crossing, generally speaking. Now compare that to Rudoni who has several assists from right footed crosses down the wing.

Personally, I want to see a 4-2-3-1 with EMC RW or a 4-4-2 with Rudoni there.
Sakamoto has a decent right foot, go look at the quality of the cross he put in for Rudoni to score against Oxford

Great assist. How often does he put balls of that quality with his right foot in the 66 games he’s played for us?

It’s not an unfair characterisation to say he’s the most one footed player in our starting lineup (forwards; Wright, EMC and Rudoni).

What?! If anything he's the least one footed. Rudoni is all left foot.

I mean it would be delicious to win there to seal play offs and their relegation
Beat Hull - relegat KP
Beat Plymouth - relegate them for appointing Rooney
Beat Luton relegate them for play-off revenge
Fail to beat any of those and hopefully Robins takes Stoke down

Beat Midldlesbro - again
Beat Sunderland - well just for shits n giggles really
Beat Sheff Utd at Wembley 'Callum O'Hare, it could've been you'

Hull have only scored 40 goals in 41 games. Only Luton have scored less. But they are another side that are quite solid defensively and don't let many goals in.

1-0 win.

I can see an argument for trying Simms with Wright on the left for this one, and that's from someone who rates EMC and thinks he did ok last night.
I think EMC would make a great CF! He wins the headers and He keeps the ball and is difficult to get the ball off him. Certainly stop the ball keep coming back whilst the midfield get up

Yeah, he's got that side of it down. Doubt he's got the movement, timing of runs etc. in his locker though. Feels like an emergency only kinda thing at this point.

I think the game may suit us better than last night.

I think Pompey would have been well happy with a point last night, where Hull will surely be going for the 3 points.

If it gives us the opportunity to counter attack, that could really play into our hands.
We never counter

I think he could be a decent alternative to Simms in that role.

I don’t see FL trying it though unless he’s forced to by Simms being injured or suspended.

Well this is a tough one. Hull battling and finding results. Again one we should win. Think Simms in and Wright out wide again may be more fruitful. Not sure about Sheaf, he's not offensive enough.

He does keep the ball against defenders really well. Could be useful if we wanted to change it up from trying to get it to the wings all the time, assuming he could lay the ball off to advancing midfielders (or a strike partner).

I think there's too many questions to be trying this out at the moment when you've got Simms and Wright also available, but I wouldn't mind hem trying it out pre-season.

I'm staying up in Nuneaton on Monday. Any suggestions on best pub in the town centre to watch the game???

What area of Nuneaton are you staying?

Town Centre - Black Swan in Hand or Silk Mill
Stockingford - The Piv (will have plenty of fans in there, I'd have thought)
Attleborough - Crows Nest

Is anyone after a ticket for this? My mate is no longer using his ticket so if anyone is in need… let me know!
