Well we'll be fitter then won't we. I think they may put the WBA game back anywayWBA have an extra 2 days rest than us before we play them in what may be a pivotal game. Hmmmm.

Why, what difference does a Monday night make to a Saturday?
Are you not counting M'Boro away in the play offs? We've won 1 midweek (yes i know its not midweek but basically a day earlier) away game in 3 years
Also, used to be the best Fish n Chips in the Country. M1 should be quiet on the way home, but probably a mare getting there at that time.Other than for those who now can't make the game it's a right bonus being moved to a night game. Hull doesn't look as bad in the dark.

Ok - didn't we win at Bristol City away in the cup this season, and about 3 seasons ago too (Feb 22)?Alright 2.
But still, 2 in 3 years is an abysmal record, so any away game moved to a weekday night instantly screams loss to me

Will 5 hours later ko make all that much difference?I'm expecting this to be 8pm too.
Its not an excuse its a fact.Poor excuse, it shouldn't matter
So was not beating Swansea and PrestonIts not an excuse its a fact.
I think it will stay as 3 for a win and 1 for a drawShould give more than 20 points for games like this. Serious commitment.
You can't have the TV money without fixture changes. You all want Premier football, higher ticket prices and fewer 3pm Saturday KO's, it's Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday KO's. If you really want it, stop moaning.
I suppose the point is, this is not the PL. We play 8 games more as it is, and those additional fixtures are mainly midweek. Night games are no fun, you only have to look at some of the awful turnouts across the league for midweek games recently. The QPR game recently, the actual number in the ground was 17K apparently, 6-7K below the official attendance. The PL is what it is, you know what you're getting. This new TV deal in the championship is a nonsense, shifting games for TV coverage that nobody is watching, and the few that are are using fire sticks anyway. The money is largely irrelevant, everyone gets the same pretty much so it's all relative. It'll implode at some point, personally can't wait. In the meantime, as the follower of a championship club, I'll keep moaning about it.
Its worth about £5.7 million per club per season so it is very relevant.
Night games have suppressed attendances TV or no TV.
More money from TV just means ultimately that players are paid more money. It doesn’t actually improve anything for the fans, football was just as much fun in the 80’s and 90’s without millions more being pumped into the players pay packets. If the TV deals didn’t exist worldwide then we would be none the wiser…..or watching games at stupid times . Like most sports money is ruining the game. Its worth about £5.7 million per club per season so it is very relevant.

Sorry for those who aren’t able to make it.
Sellfishly, it’s turned out alright for me. This is my local game and only a 20- minute drive away and always look forward to it.
However my wife cheerily announced a few months back that she had booked a trip with her Mum on the Saturday and that I would have to look after (a) her Mum’s ageing, scabby dog (b) our guinea pigs who would have to be moved to our garden room to escape attack from said dog and (c) our son.
Luckily I can now go!
