Where is there any substance that Cov will move away from Nike, and that Hummel will make next season's kits. There is one message on twitter from someone not linked with the club and with no detail - it's just an opinion or wish. Why all the hysteria?

Doesn't mention hummel, but the post here from the 3rd kit thread saying the Nike deal is ending according to club shop staff

Told so by people in the club shop.
In addition, Nike had a 4 year deal, the 4 years are up this summer.

Deffo that one with the old fashioned collar, much more comfortable!!
Please send it to CCFC and test the water about the rumour around Hummel.

I have sent them stuff in the past, doesn't go anywhere. I'd imagine we will get a template kit from whomever manufacturers the kit. Someone pointed out that Hummel did reissue that design in 2016 on Twitter so it could be an option.

Might be worth a few people contacting the club so it doesn't just seem like the rambling of a lone mad man :)

Sky Blue and white hoops that would be a novelty. I don’t think we have had a home or away kit with hoops.
Wearing a shirt with hoops and fat belly isn't very flattering. :emoji_see_no_evil:

The Club has just stated in an article that their will be more kit news for 19/20 in the summer.

No mention of Hummell at this point.

Probably still officially under contract so can’t disclose further info.
Contract probably runs to the end of the month to cover any potential play off games. Hopefully its all lined up and as soon as the contract expires they get the info up and straight on sale. Annoying when they don't put them on sale for months, must lose loads of potential purchases over the summer.

Those mockups are superb, Alkhen. I’d particularly love to see a V-neck revisit of the 87/88 kit, and I can imagine there are folks inside Hummel who’d feel the same if they were doing something bespoke.

I’m glad to hear it will be bespoke though; whilst I’ve enjoyed seeing the swoosh on our kits there’s really very little special about seeing exactly the same kit being worn by another team; when it’s another manufacturer it becomes even more important there’s something to make it stand out.

With that in mind, Forward Madison (a team in the US) have their kit made by Hummel and just unveiled their new away kit. I’d love to see us do something striking like this with our new away kit too...

Sure, and not even necessarily pink. Just... doing something interesting and unusual. Like, that’s what made our previous Hummel shirt so good; it was completely unlike anything else that had existed previously (or at least, before the initial Denmark shirt that was the template).

Or the other clubs like Southampton, who also wore it...

Completely agree. What makes me hopeful is that Hummel don't seem to supply a massive amount of clubs and among the clubs they do, a lot have their own designs
