Indeed.

We take on songs that are just blatant rip-offs of other teams, but one that would genuinely be our own and nothing.

Or is everyone too cool to sing something based on Chesney Hawkes?

I was too busy freezing my arse off to get it going at Preston. Fat man in the chinos will start it at Bristol

What a progression! My favorite defender, understated, under rated, does his business no fuss. His fitness record is incredible too, add to that his disciplinary record impeccable. What a rock solid reliable defender!

What a player so so lucky to have him. Improved year on year.

Light years ahead of Rose as i have been saying for years.

Grendel has been quiet on Hyam of late maybe he rates him these days

First choice defender. Hyam, Fadz, JCS. Some will still think it’s a sentimental thing though…

At least G is consistent and doesn't go spouting off any old crap and then changes his mind 84 times at least

Hyam is a decent defender: solid and reliable. His finish yesterday was instinctive yet controlled. To think he has contributed more goals than O’Hare, Allen or Sheaf shows how important a player like Hyam is to the team. He will rarely get motm but will always get a 6-8 score…Mr Consistent.
What will stop him playing at a higher level is his lack of pace, occasional poor positioning especially when deepest player and his slow distribution when playing out from the back.

Such a great signing for this club. Good advert for going vegan too I guess lol

Didnt realise that. Definitely bulked up this season and has played better for it. Distribution can be a bit inconsistent still, can knock a great long ball one minute followed by maybe holding on too long and/or giving it away the next, but overall agree with the positive comments, really stepped up this year.

Definitely bigger, faster and stronger these days. Very consistent performer and one of Robins' favourites

Possibly becoming a bit of a cult hero and fans favourite. With us since L2 and recently captained us in the Championship.

Really enjoyed his celebration yesterday, you could tell how much it meant to him. He’s also always straight over to the fans after each game. That’s exactly what you want - players caring about the club. Definite affinity with the club at this point I’d say.

He’s supposed to be a really nice bloke too!

Handy back up and this may be an unpopular opinion but not good enough if we want to get into top echelons of the Championship.

We’re three points off the play offs?

Not sure the “top echelons” of the Championship is realistic. I think being in the play-off mix is as good as we can hope for and Hyam is doing that already.

His 50p head was annoying me a bit previously, but getting some context, the progression this guy has made is really impressive. Kind of a steady eddie in some ways, but that is fine for a central defender. Really good servant for the club without doubt.

177 games for us and only 26. Can't see him ever outgrowing the club but can't see the club ever outgrowing him. Think he could end up playing over 400 games for us and become a real modern day legend

We met him 4 years ago outside the ricoh when he was out of the team because of Davis. I remember his girlfriend having a moan about Robins not playing him.

Maybe lower Prem or someone like Everton if they come down. Surely if you’re the third best defender in the league you will be in demand

As with all stats and data it’s a guide. Would you say from what you’ve watched this season he’s the third best centre back in the league?
