Have we seen a James/Hamer or James/Sheaf partnership in a 352 yet?

I don’t necessarily think he’s what we needed to sign, but he’s what I want Kelly to be. He’s so much more composed on the ball and so much more intelligent with it. Not a slate of Kelly but James is very much the higher tier of Kelly and if we’re not going on sentiment and it’s affordable the kind of player we need

Probably wouldn’t go as far as to say he’s the difference between staying up and being relegated, but he looked very good again today. This is more what I was expecting.

This will be the first full season he’s played since Leicester were last in the championship. I think he just needed a good run in the team to settle in and rediscover that he’s actually a decent player, certainly at championship level. Which he now seems to have done.

We said all along him and Kelly couldn’t play together but over the last 4 games they’ve both looked very good.

Always liked James but yeah, was concerned about the 2 together. Think the last 2 games have shown that when we need to be more defensively sound & structured though they can work.

Re Kelly, I think robins must be considering him and James thinking maybe letting one go as if sheaf is a signing then 3 similar players for 1 position is a waste of budget .none of us no what terms of the sheaf deal is before anyone jumps on this

I would prefer James to Kelly. I do like Kelly a lot, but am not convinced he is top Championship player. James is proven.

Both have had a number of injury concerns though

I don't think going with both is the way forward

It will and should be one from James And Sheaf.

James/Kelly/Hamer. Eccles should be a back up on fringes.

Desperately need another attacking midfielder.
