Im not talking about the support of the football club from outsiders though am i. Don't start twisting my words and lying.

The simple fact is that the Ricoh is naff all to do with you now because your team do not play there.

Why don't you pressure timmy into building the new ground? ?

So what difference is it if you live in Coventry? It is a building that is in your city? What say do you have over it?

Coventry tax payers ultimately have no say in it,we can voice our opinions and put pressure on the council for things we don't like failing that we can vote them out.

How do you work that out? Pretty sure anybody who has been to the cafe there can have an opinion on it.

Yes but if Warwick council were planning on knocking it down and replacing it with a lapdancing bar i could have an opinion on it but ultimately it'll be nothing to with me as im a non resident.

With all this threads you're starting, I can only presume the "divorce" hasn't gone as planned?

Good point, but this thread isn't really much to do with the football club per se, it's more to do with Ricoh.

Oh and btw, I didn't listen to the game yesterday, I had more interesting things to do.

The Ricoh was built for CCFC to play their. There is only so many Bruce Springsteen's in this world to pack the place out once a year...

Since we left, there has been a few charity games, Leicester U21's and thats it. That Medium woman in the hall and some snooker. White elephant.

Well some of you mocked my idea, think again chaps.

But you'll notice in my original post I underlined the word offer think about it!

ACL can do what they like with the Ricoh - it's is their ground after all. They don't owe the club or CCFC fans anything. It's really not "our" problem at all.

I have. Fisher and seppella would piss themselves laughing and the speedway club would run a mile as they know that the landlord only sees tenants as a cash cow to use abd abuse.

Great idea.

What are the dimensions of a speedway track, would it fit in the pitch area without having to move any seats or people being sat miles from the track?

It's not a terrible idea really. ACL can't just sit around waiting for SISU to get their act together. If the speedway needs a new home and it's logistically possible then why not?

Brilliant. Speedway. Yes Speedway everybody.

In relation to potentially becoming the new home of Coventry Bees, Mr Robinson said any practical issues could potentially be worked out.

“I guess there’s a practical issue with it, but nothing is completely ruled out. We would need to talk in detail about the possibilities of that happening.

“It is something we have never discussed, I guess there would be practical issues with it, but if it’s three years away...”

You're idea was mocked because it's shite.

Exactly but I think the new bloke at ACL has been reading this thread.

Hope he doesn't get all his ideas from here, otherwise Nuneaton will be moving in, called the Nuneaton Sky Blues.

Ok. Just wondered. I wasn't sure if you were one of the 2 lady protest or not.

Nah, Id hope to be a bit more er professional than that. Hey, but I understand all the piss taking. I mean Im on here all the time on the wind up so you would probably think it was all bullshit but its not. Honestly. Will try and get shit together for Shrewsbury in what promises to be another exciting sell out at Sixfields.

We'll see, as far as I am concerned kudos if you do get a protest going, personally I do not understand why there haven't been protests there before now.
