At which point yesterday did you think we ain't going to win today.

For me it's when we won a corner , cole strolled across to take it and the players just left the ball in the area.

No urgency at all

I feared it. We looked good for the first 15 mins or so and if we had scored then it would have been a different game entirely.

I thought that first15 min or so domination flattered us because even then Fleetwood got closer to creating scoring chances than we did. I thought they might steal a result but in the end they deserved it.

Simply when I saw no change in tactic after half time I feared the worse. The one up top is simply not working if anyone out there thinks it is please say, it's as clear as the nose on your face it isn't. Okay last time out we hit 6 but in way it was a strange one off sort of match, early goals, certainly dodgy goalkeeping from Bury all helped.

No, agree! One up top isn't working. Teams are crowding Armstrong out for the most part.

I see on MOTD they were talking about Southampton's three at the back system working really well. That would obviously then give you an extra option further up the field.

Is that something worth considering?

Off the top of my head

RCC

Stephens, Cargill /Martin, Stokes

Rose Fleck Vincelot Cole Murphy

Madison/Henderson/Tudgay

Armstrong

Not saying go with it, but could it work?

If we can't win with 14 players we don't deserve to go up!

3 at the back is a very difficult system to play, I remember when Wigan switched to it under Martinez and that was integral for them go on a great run which secured their survival. Martinez said that the team had been practicing it for 3 months before he implemented on a matchday - he said is a specialist system, which is difficult to learn and play.

Ahh, but hasn't Mowbray been saying we have other systems up our sleeves because we need to adapt our game from time to time? ;)

He must have deep sleeves, either that or he's lost that jacket as he hasn't reached for them yet.... ;)
