I live very near to a certain Chris Hussey!!!. He told me last week that Norwood wanted to join CCFC but they couldnt match the asking price and they were way off the wages that Barnsley and Huddersfield were willing to offer. Whilst Carsley was at Everton he played alongside James Beattie from 2004 to 2007 (5 England Caps) and also James McFadden from 2003 to 2008 (32 Scotland Caps). Both are currently free agents.

Not wanting to add any weight to this or anything but also just remembered they played together at Birmingham as well from 2008 to 2010. That means they were together for 7 years on the pitch. I'd imagine they know each other pretty well.
