It's flawed logic, if we're being forced out, what can we do!?
The past is the past, if ACL want to play sour grapes by rejecting approaches for negotiations, what can the club do!? Answer that one.
Not naive at all. I never even mentioned PH4. I only stated a fact that they are only in if for the money . Either that or to have somewhere to channel losses from other arms of the business.I agree with you about being ripped off and only wish Sisu had bought half the ground and invested in the team and got us challenging at the top of the championship. But they never have in the six years they have been here. So we learn this week of a plan to basically defraud cov council taxpayers to obtain what they want. Worst position for 50 yrs for the team and now on about fecking off from the city . I bet come the new season we will still be at the Ricoh and next year we will have the same old shite.
Forced out?
CCFC have left the Ricoh of their own accord after turning down an acceptable rent offer.
At what point have ACL said they are evicting the club?

Irrelevant, we're not franchising the club elsewhere, it's a temporary move, it'd be like Brighton, if anything.
You are so boring now sky blue taylor you can not try to justify wat they are doing to our club anymore ! Don't ever question my commitment as a fan ! I bleed sky blue ! No I don't get to every game but I love the club through and through! Pusb!
They haven't said they're evicting us, but they rejected an offer to renegotiate, so they kind of have evicted us if they don't want to renegotiate a new deal to stay.
Awesome, just the 11 years with no proper home ground then.
I might be wrong here but was this latest offer to negeotiate not from CCFC Holdings?
The rent row now has nothing to do with CCFC Holdings or Sisu, it is up to the administrator to meet with ACL.
The current rent agreement still exists between ACL and CCFC Ltd. For ACL to then allow a different company to have priority access to the pitch would be illegal under the rental agreement.
It is lazy arguments like that which is helping to create the problem -- acceptable to who exactly?
Possibly, but, how can we get agreements elsewhere then?

So what would you do if the club is being forced out then?
Do we break into the RICOH to play our home games then!? If ACL won't renegotiate, what can be done, there is no adequate facility available in Coventry, so you'd have to go elsewhere, I guess you're conveniently missing this out... Have you just given up and are looking for a way of justifying your decision?
If the golden share is the club then I dont see what authority Fisher has to take the club anywhere.
My opinion is ACL are trying to show that the administrator is control of the club.
Is the administrator in control of the club though? Only 1/2 of the club is in admin.
I think your conveniently forgetting that the club were not being forced out and it is only through them being seemingly utterly hell bent on burning all bridges that we've reached the situation we're in now. They negotiated a seemingly acceptable rent and revenue stream level, given that by all accounts this was agreed on with handskaes all round only to renege on the deal. I personally think this is more mind games but as I said on an earlier thread they aren't just playing games with ACL/CCC...they're playing games with us and holding the majority of fans that hold playing in our home city as sacrosanct to ransom. You're a very intelligent poster and I certainly agree with your political views(!) but what amazes me is that you can be so blase about us playing outside the city for any length of time or even permanantly if we move to our "new South Warwickshire home".
But it's worth it now isn't it!
Depends on what you class as the club really.
The model of football clubs doesn't fit well to the model of a standard business.
As Grendel said, who's it acceptable to? You? ACL? A L1 football club?
I would say it was acceptable to the representatives of SISU who shook hands on the deal.....
When they first came in they did invest, Dann and Fox straight away, Gunnar, Eastwood, Clingan, Best (paid unpaid fees) etc. there's nearly 3m in 2 windows, and that isn't all of them.
I mentioned PH4 because of the nature of your post, you portrayed SISU as being unique in this, there's no denying SISU want the club and RICOH to make profit, these hedge funds are slaves to money, but, capitalists are in general, slaves to money, and to suggest that PH4 wouldn't have the same overall intentions is naive at best, stupid at worst - take your pick.
What's this plan of defrauding the taxpayer? The only party to defraud the taxpayer is the council, who bailed out ACL with £14m in times of austerity, I wouldn't condone it in times of prosperity, a completely unjustified waste of TP's money!
The club has been in steep decline since relegation from the premiership, if it weren't for SISU in the first place, we would've been in this mess 5 years before, with hindsight it was probably better SISU didn't come, but you couldn't guarantee then we couldn't do a Pompey, so have they created the situation? Not entirely, it was already there.
As Grendel said, who's it acceptable to? You? ACL? A L1 football club?
Like I said, the past is the past, if SISU come back, seemingly with its tail between its leg to renegotiate, why did ACL reject the approach to negotiate? If they accepted yet couldn't come to an agreement for whatever reason, their position would be stronger, but they've only shot themselves in the foot.
Again, what are the club suppose to do if ACL rejected the offer to renegotiate the rent deal? There doesn't seem another option but to play outside of Coventry (since there's no other adequate facility in Coventry) until ACL want to renegotiate. Clearly both parties are at fault for this fiasco.

What proof is there that this happened? Perhaps it did, but you're going on what someone else has said, we know nothing, the context etc. etc.
Sky blue taylor - i think you need to get a girlfriend or something. Spending your entire life posting on this forum cannot be healthy.

You bleed sky blue? Yet won't go to a game in say, Brum... Great supporter.

Like my mate who's a Man U fan who said he's 'die hard'... Hasn't been to 10 league games (he can afford it, has had the opportunities, just hasn't gone, at least my glory supporting friend who supports Arsenal goes as often as he can) yet, whilst sitting on his sofa watching them on Sky or on MOTD, well 'die hard'...
