I think I trust experian more than the Cov telegraph when it comes to finance matters.

What does that prove? Of course companies linked to CCFC have poor credit status, but it hardly matters if the beneficial owner is prepared to provide the funding necessary to stay in business.

SISU Capital have a 5 star credit rating, in fact they have the highest credit rating I have ever seen on a credit report. That doesn't mean a huge amount either though. Make of it what you will, but SISU have money.

Archer, respect your point of view, everyone entitled to that.

I take the opposite unfortunately. While I would certainly be happy to support the team, I cannot do so under these owners. I have seen us avoid admin by people who were supposed to follow a plan. I would have had no issues if they had stuck to that plan and sold us for a profit, but they didn't. They sent us down an ever increasing slippery slope until we find ourselves the joke of midlands football, relegated with an almost certain relegation battle under FFP and possible more points deductions.

Call me a turncoat, accuse me of not loving my team, but I cannot just shrug my solders and let heart rule head and keep coughing up money to watch us slide further and further into the abyss. Fate's Wheel always turns, so in a couple of years time when the SISU stadium still hasn't had a brick laid and CCFC have scraped promotion from L2 back to L1, and SISU finally get some mug to splash big money to buy them out because we are on the up, along with the Ricoh because the council finally come clean and say ACL can't survive without CCFC, I'll gladly go through the turnstiles.

Until then I will support the team via the radio and internet streams, because SISU will receive not one penny more from me.

Well I've popped on the wrecking Ball by the 'Boss'...............He refers a lot in the album to the damage done and still being done by the likes of hedge funds to the world economy and ordinary folk. Peoples everyday lives are being destroyed by the likes of these unscrupulous shits. They have hijacked my football club and until they've gone I'm done with it. I've done my time, 35 years at roughly 30 games a season but I WILL NOT prop up scum like these mysterious morons. I shall be at the concert next week at the Ricoh and shed a tear for the loss of our club no doubt, but that's me done then and on here too, there's not really much point anymore arguing with posters you hope do actually care about the club. I shall always be Cov, FFS I've shed blood for the colours and drew a little too in days gone by but there is more to life than this !!

Most companies won't provide credit to one that has been in administration and keeps the same directors.

I was lead to believe that there business is actually not doing well regardless of there credit rating it seems that they are as good at hedge funding as running a football club

Can I just say that forget who thinks what, or who thinks who thinks what, the tone of this post is fantastic.

Hope you find a way to come back chap, really do. At the end of the day we all want the same thing really, it'd be nice to think there's a day in the future we can all meet to celebrate the fact we've all found it at last.

Have you ever had any dealings with Experian in terms of business contracts?

I have no idea what your point is. What are you trying to say?

That the club are in debt? Yes, massively. That CCFC in all its corporate guises has a poor credit status? Yes, we know that too. Poor credit is only a problem if you need to borrow money, and that is not a problem because they don't need to.

Other companies within the SISU family have prefect credit scores, and SISU themselves seem more than able to call on financial resources when they need to. The issue here surely isn't that SISU can continue to finance the club. They may not be fit to run a football club, but don't underestimate their general business acumen and financial clout. If SISU are the enemy, then you need to know the enemy a bit better I feel, and trying to draw meaningful conclusions from credit scores and published accounts is schoolboy stuff.

Exactly.

Getting berated for actually wanting to SUPPORT my club through thick and THIN and you get responses like that!

Support your club by not going along with a stupid plan. Hold your nerve and SISU will be back at the Ricoh. Go with them and support them to the bottom.

SISU have all the club now, with a bit of luck they will now sell.

My original post was in reply to some ridiculous post by grego that we will have a new squad in a few weeks.

Edit: Do you not think they will need to borrow for this new ground?

SISU don't want to do a deal with ACL. They agreed Heads of Terms on the 400k per year in january, asked them to put it in writing, and then SISU completely changed them. Was as if the meeting didn't happen.
Of course fisher will have you believe something different.

Reasonable business people meet in the middle. 400k down from 1.2m I think is more than reasonable.

I've got a cracking 2006 Ford Focus for sale - I was asking £75,000 for it but it's yours for £15,000. How can you resist such a bargain?

Right fair play to those that will continue to go, i think your'e making a mistake but that is your'e right, but don't tell me that you will be supporting Coventry city because it might be called Coventry city but it will be playing in bloody Walsall for the next 3 years and even when this mythical stadium is built it wont be in Coventry it will be in the Coventry area, try telling Liverpool that there moving out of Liverpool to play in Manchester which is 30 miles away and then they are moving back to play in there new stadium in St helens. So as i said fair play to you but to me you will deserve no more respect than an MK dons fan. Emotive stuff this football ain't it.

A new squad?

Are you suggesting and encouraging our owners to go on a rampant spending spree in defiance of ffp?

Also have you seen sisus credit rating?

SISU have never been short of money, they just shut off the tap when they needed to!

Sorry if my reply was unclear,
I was answering two separate points you made in your earlier response.
one with a comment - about SISUS credit rating,
the link was for the other point - about spending on the team..
