Idea for the club to generate money (2 Viewers)

Now, not that much thought gone into this (as per most of my posts), but just wondered if it were possible for the club to hold a raffle, with the prize being lifetime (or say 10 year) free season tickets?

So, say £5 a go, 10 prizes, 2 lifetime ST's each.

I would definitely take a punt. Even would at £10 a go.

You have to remember there are many City fans who simply don't go to games, but who I am sure would enter for the chance of lifetime season tickets. Reckon they could get a lot of interest.

Could even split it. Two raffles a season, 5 pairs and then 5 pairs, to generate more income.

If Sisu go it could be written into any contract for any new owner as a clause/caveat. 20 free tickets isn't going to kill any owner.

I think we should have a fund for the academy were we pay in to fund it but players used in the first team a rent is paid and any players sold goes back to the academy fund with a small cut going to the club not sure if that would be classed as third party ownership

I do like the sound of this. I’d happily pay a tenner per throw!

Alternatively, a wet, slippery fish to slap round those chubby chops of his would be far more appropriate to reflect his name and personality.

We can think of all the ideas we want but to put it simply there isn't the staff base at the club to carry out these ideas. Ironically many fans would prepare and execute initiatives such as your raffle idea out of the love of the club...

I think they did start the lottery thing at games, I remember a few games they have had people wandering round with iPads selling tickets.

I am not sure how it worked, but I don't think it sold too many.

Looking at the CT comments on ST prices yesterday, I think our lot would whinge at a tenner a season ticket nevermind for a raffle prize!!
