Couldn't the same thing be said about Thorn? We've had lots of injuries and SISU haven't invested. What's the difference.

if it came to it I wouldn't mind seeing Thorn back as scout - he's proved he can spot players - as long as the new manager wasn't Carsley, Oggy or some other untried manager. It doesn't work, does it?

Boothroyds results only declined once the squad was ravaged by injury and SISU wouldn't invest during January.

I don't believe that AT is currently capable of achieving great results with any squad. He is too inexperienced and his pretty (boring) football does not bring about results until you get to a higher level.

Any new owners would be castigated if they got rid of Thorn I would imagine regardless of their millions. City fans aren't that easily bought

Don't really get what you've been on the last few days? Every comment sounds like a kid having a tantrum because they're not getting what they want?! Just an observation! Share your pains with the group macca, it may help!

yeh pretty much on the money with that KG. Never been so unhappy with a CCFC related issue. And if you don't leave me alone I will cry:whistle:

As in the same subject keeps cropping up? Or something else?

Don't cry!

Boothroyd is/was a terrible manager. When things are bad the grass always looks greener on the other side, replacing Thorn to bring Boothroyd back would be 2 steps forwards, 3 steps back.

I'll be honest although i sympathise with Andy Thorn and what he has had to deal and work with as manager i think if we were takenover by people with serious wonga then i think we have to bring a new manager in. Don't think the fans would give Thorn much time to get things right i'm afraid. Why not make AT director of football to run everything below the first team.

Yes but he obviously knew he could only bring in three. Why get rid of a keeper that actually looked half decent to bring in another that looks about the same level? Keep Quirke, bring in an outfield player?

Quirke was nowhere near the level of Dunn - he was totally out of his depth, especially when it came to claiming crosses.

What Thorne had to deal with and work with he brought here as scout we need to sack him and offload these losers.

Like your thinking! Thorne's a good guy, great scout and really good with the youngsters. If we had some serious cash to fund an overhaul it would probably be wise to get an experienced manager in.
