Pathetic thread. King is the only person to blame here

King, Robins, the army of coaches have all made mistakes.

But there is only one group who have 100% control over results, and that is the team

I've seen a few people come out with this 'people getting emotional' line.
As if football isn't an emotional game. It's almost like they don't really get it.
Everyone is entitled to be emotional. I literally said it's like someone died and compared him to an ex lover!

I just don't post inaccurate football views because of it and then use it as a get out of jail card

I have not stated that at all so don't be like that please.

I am open to scenario robins letting ayari down just like I am open to robins putting the club first because ayari wasn't ready.
But I think that was the reason to bring Dr Claire in and enough to get AV gone and ultimately MR, and as far as players go a tricky situation to be in?

Ayari was dogshit for us though. His work rate was appalling.
Probably the 2nd worse loan since our return to the Championship
But it happens, and was part of the learning curve for the player. Same as Harry Kane who had some very uninspiring loans. All part of their development.
Yup but just one year later he's doing his thing in the prem. Not sure how much development happened at Blackburn!

Sometimes different managers get more out of different players

And before you say it I doubt there is a manager out there who would have got more out of covs squad over last 7 years

You think you don't post inaccurate football views.
The reality is there isn't a person on here you can say that about.

Yet he looked solid at the start last night, IDK if he was responsible for being tricked by the ball from the GK twice though?
He absolutely shit pal, our centre backs are absolutely fucking shit, Binks can run with a ball and play a cross 40 yards to our right winger, but the 4 of them get pummeled week in week out once the pressure is put on them they are shit, we are where we are because we didn't sign 2 quality centre backs and a central midfielder.

This is on the recruitment team.

To play devil's advocate some fans always write off players and are proven wrong

Look at ayari. Everyone saying he was shit and less than a year later he's playing for one of premier leagues top teams regularly

Maybe king is annoyed robins benched him and didn't persist? Maybe ayari could have been a real asset last year had we let himself settle in?

Like I said just playing devil's advocate
Half the board think every player is shit until they become a top level European striker so yeah not the best judges.

But one was left to Binks to deal with a tricky bounce (he should have either met it further up or retreated and dealt with it where you'd hope help would have got back, whoever that was meant to be, the other one was an identical ball from the GK down the other side

I heard Simms downed tools
I did sense a tone in his voice when he explained it either before or after the match and they still managed to perform, don't get it, after the previous performance too, also the post match interviews getting the repeated comments on settling things down,.

But was able to say what prevented Simms on Saturday and Bassette last night?

He sounded annoyed with Bassette. He said he has a stiff neck. You could sense in his voice tone that he thought it was a stupid as it sounds.

Talk about reading too much into things! He didn't sound annoyed, and it doesn't sound stupid. The young lad is as keen as mustard, so I'm sure the injury is genuine. He took a helluva whack to the head in the previous game, so that's one possible cause (the effect can be delayed).

Is what it is mate, everyone's entitled to their views. Just rather people look at what I've said before, because bar the howlers like Bajcetic and Gilmour I've never lived down, it's not usually far from the truth. Sometimes just takes a while to become visible i suppose
Either way, I’m now bought my daysaver for the Saddlebrains “Doug Kings a c**t” bandwagon

We've had a policy for years against players posting anything controversial on social media
That's a bit different to threatening to fine players if they post about Robins. A 'thanks boss' type message would hardy be controversial. Don't think anyone is expecting 'glad he's gone' or 'King is an idiot' posts from players

We've got a bunch of players who post multiple times on their socials day in day out. Every single player suddenly going silent the day the manger gets the sack is going to prompt far more questions and controversy than just letting them crack on as usual

I don't want players posting anything about this anywhere. All it will do is fan the flames. We've got people writing fan fiction on here about what's happened and why. Imagine the plots people could spin after analysing posts made - or not made - by players. Best advice possible to them is to just stfu. If they want to contact MR, they can. Don't need to say goodbye in public.

Set up was all wrong tactically, Derby sat in, especially after the goal and we just couldn’t create space in the 5 back.

We immediately looked much better in 433. Or did the players just suddenly start trying at that very moment?

As I said, lazy, surface level take.
They are not mutually exclusive
