I DO believe he will go, although I hope I'm proved wrong, people at the telegraph on twitter seem to think he is.
has he said much about it himself so far? its unbelievable how it works these days - cant even get and keep a manager through a season.
id be dissappointed and worried if he goes - but if he does, to those people who say it would be the last straw, come on....really??!! can we help being City fans? surely we are use to dissappointment by now? we could drop to the conference and I would still be a city fan - not through choice, just cos how can you just stop supporting them?
What are the CET twitter folk saying exactly?
The approach been turned down but he has cancelled the interview he was supposed to have with the telegraph
I think we'd all still be City fans but whether we join the apathetic non spending brigade of City fan is another thing. I enjoy our games under MR, I WILL not go back to watching utter shite under some other coont like Hoothroyd or Coleman !!
I'd be gutted Matt, this is the best season we've had in 15 years, the football has been enjoyable and the fans have rallied both home and away. Next season will also be something to look forward to under MR.............without him and with some plodder like Megson doesn't bare thinking about !!
Can't help but think that Robins might end up wanting to emulate the tactics of Odemwingie
Once a shit stirrer, always a shit stirrer !!
If he stays here we'll go up next season anyway................maybe even this year if we can start putting chances away again.
I dont even wanna think about Mark Robins leaving, but realistically, we know eventually he will go to a bigger club. If not now, in the future. We gotta accept he wont be here forever. Just hope e stays til we're in a solid position in The Championship so we can attract a good new manager, on par or nearabouts as good as MR. Personally, i would like to see Alan Curbishley but i think he's done with management, so Adkins would be my pick, but as already mentioned, why would he come to a club in L1 with no money? Knoowing SISU, they'll find the cheapest guy to do the job
There are many good managers out there. I'm sure Huddersfield have seen what MR has done in a short period of time and also know he is a cheaper option than say someone like Curbishly. However Huddersfield could be coming down back to league 1 and they would already have then have a manager with knowledge of that division if they got him.
Frankly though MR would be insane to jump ship from a club where he has built a solid and likeable reputation, backed by his current board, making things happen at a big club and potentially will take this club into the Championship anyway, with the prospect to push on for a realistic go at the Premier league that a big club always commands.
Stay and be a hero or leave for mediocre?
It's nice to be wanted and if anything gives you more strength to come at the board. With this strengthend hand he needs to keep us on course. I believe he is a good fit at this club and he likes it here. An improved contract wouldn't go amiss for the man. When he sees 32k at the Ricoh for a silly cup competition he knows more than anyone their will not be many clubs with that 'sleeping' potential waiting to be ignited. Certainly not Huddersfield. Coventry are on the cusp of something good and he will be part of that in a big way.

he won't go,after seeing 30,000 turn up last week, your lucky if huddersfield can attract 25,000 in the top flight
There are many good managers out there? Is that why it took over 15 years of trying for us to get one in Mark Robins?
There are a lot of managers out there who have been good in the past but now their star is on the wane, or managers who have had as many failings as they have successes.
It took so long to get the right man in Robins. I can't see that we are just going to be able to pick up another manager who can make the same difference just at the drop of the hat.
It took a lot longer than 15 years!!
