He’s definitely done something right. We look so much more positive and confident over the last couple of weeks, yesterday in particular.
I dont think that he wont be getting this time but may be in with a shout if the new bloke doesn’t do well

Shows things weren’t right under Robins in the end,

Good to see passion and fight and they play with a sense of freedom. However defence is a shambles.

Can’t see it happening. Doug will be looking for a statement type appointment. Appointing Rhys would be the complete opposite.

In fairness Rhys has done his career no harm at all, no expectations on him and he’s got the team playing with more belief and positivity than we’ve seen for most of this season. He talks well, seems intelligent and would probably be an asset somewhere in any coaching setup we create.

If we’re looking at changing coaching staff under the new coach, gary mcsheffery is the U21s coach at sheff Utd. doing a good job apparantley, dont get why we don’t have ex players involved like some other clubs, helps keep that connection, although saying that, boateng hardly gets a mention, so maybe not a great example but you get what I mean 😂

I'd be fuming. We need to build him a statue and get rid!

Honestly though, I feel we have learned a couple of things over the last couple of games. 1) that the coaching set up is not as terrible as some (not looking at you Doug) made out 2) We are as good as if not better than the top 2 in terms of all round play.

The third at vitally important point worth raising is that we need to stop conceding so many but we knew that already and it has its own thread.

Conceding goals has become our main issue, since the season Wilson kept 20 odd clean sheets. Conceding 2 a game at the moment

Not that it matters now, but I wonder whether Carr was ever considered for the role that Robins was dismissed for failing to fill?

Weren't the players rumoured to have complained that the standard of coaching had dropped? Yet here we are with people praising Carrs's ability to get a tune out of them 🤷‍♂️

I think the idea Carr should become manager died tonight.:)

The only silver lining on tonight's shitshow was that this eejit won't be considered long term. Some even attempted a nauseating rendition of Rhys Carrs SBA although it least I suppose it was a song as we were pitiful again and as bad as the team.

My bet its not Carr or Lampard and i think it will be announced before Saturday's game. I can see another management job opening up soon..
