Keep Wilson for his goal threat. Got to be worth a couple of goals a season

I personally thought Collins performed well over the season .
Until Robins dropped him for no reason he was fine, he came back in and looked like a zombie version of Collins. Not sure it was worth that just to bring Wilson in for a few games and watch him concede every shot on target.

There must surely have been some reason behind the scenes for him dropping Collins. Maybe even a personal one that you wouldn’t share in public.

We got to a playoff final with Wilson in goal who managed to get the golden glove that season, if you have a strong defence in front of him he won’t be an issue. Collins however, chucking the ball in his goal whenever he fancies-no thanks

I’m not saying there’s much between them but we got in Collins because Wilson was letting in howler after howler and also can’t control his box, unfortunately Collins also does both of those things but I’d be willing to give Collins a second chance over Wilson because at the start of last season he looked pretty decent.

I think Collins just lost a bit of confidence or something, the one thing I’ve noticed about him is that he seems very quiet both in and out of goal, doesn’t seem to engage with people much (solely judging from the lack of videos or social media posts he’s been in), it just seems a bit odd, almost like he’s not our player at times. The one positive about Wilson is that he has character, just unfortunate that that doesn’t correlate to being a decent keeper 😂

It seems like Collins will be the one to go

Final nail in the coffin being him and Adi were close, he saw Adi as a father figure

Collins just doesn't want to be here anymore

I agree.

I agree as well. Wilson has much less time left in his career and deserves a bit of 1st team football before he retires so I would wish him well and hope he finds a good club. I suspect the problem will be (for both) wages as they may be in L1. That was why Moore stuck it out.

It isn't so easy to 'bin' players on contracts as many seem to imply. The example of Moore last year indicates it might be more difficult to move on GK's than any other position (as there are such limited squad slots for them).
Unfortunately, Collins isn't what we thought he was when buying him. I am loathe to judge players off 1 season, but he looked like a WW1 'Tommy' with shell-shock last few months of the season.
Wilson was brought in to back up and push the first choice (Marosi, then Moore) and to be fair dislodged both of those. Neither will be starting (I hope), so Wilson is better in the role we have for him if you look back.
My prediction is all 3 will stay past this deadline, we should try to get Bell & Tyler out on loan for 6 moths/year to get some senior experience (even if it is National league) to aid development and make a better decision on them going forward.

I like Collins as a goalkeeper. Also I respect him if he has a desire to move on and be a first choice elsewhere - rather than sit down and be happy to be a number two (Wilson and to a greater extent Moore, who quite literally was happy doing fuck all and just pick up the pay check)
