You go to support the club not the owners.
So long as we're treating them as separate entities then, fans have turned their backs on the owners, not the club.
Which is fair enough, so their hatred of SISU is greater than their love for the club.

If it was just about seeing a football match there are plenty of other clubs to go see, people go to see Coventry because thats there club. Are you saying those who are staying away are doing it for the 'greater good' and that the low attendances are beneficial to the club?Or their love of the club is greater than a selfish need to see a football match?
See how anything can be spinned?
Just had a text off somebody at the academy saying he has loads of free tickets and cant get rid of them. I've had a free ticket all season and still feel pretty deflated when thinking about going, so not too sure admission prices is the reason the majority stay away. The complete absence of any kind of atmosphere added together with the woeful performances combined with a total feeling of apathy is probably the main reason. The buzz I used to get walking into Highfield Road.....
Who owns the club? who is making this football club what it is?
Ecky and bigfatronssba - why are you on here then?
I love city have done since my dad, grand dad and me as a 4 year old stood on a milk crate borrowed from the little tea/pie shop by the crows nest.
I have seen some great games at highfield, some desperate times and troubled times..but nothing compares to what we have now.
I have spent thousands over the years home and away taking both my sons with me, now i'm 50 I am making my own protest along with fellow friends over our deplorable owners and the damage they have inflicted on my club..
I am waiting for change and it will come, eventually...in the mean time it doesn't stop me contributing to the conversations on this web site.
We will be back one day..one day in the future and that's what keeps me going.

I don't spin, I just say it as it is.
Fair enough
I still care about the club (although I have to admit its waning) but won't be going due to being at work 200 miles away. Am I excused, Pete?
Getting rid of Sisu would be up there with the greatest achievements in CCFC's history.
In some peoples mind staying away will help accelerate Sisu's departure by costing them more money to run the club.
Therefore, in their opinion, short term low attendances are good for the long term future of the club.
And if they're wrong?

Then it wont make any difference will it?
How well has their plan gone so far?
Well it will make a difference as it will just help drive us further down the league pyramid.
You go to support the club not the owners.
You need to go and support them tonight...... No excuses
Well it will make a difference as it will just help drive us further down the league pyramid.
How will it do that then?
Well attendances have been declining since they came in so its fair to say up until now the plan has been unsuccessful. We wont know that until sisu go will we?
Pete, I'm sorry, I have to make an excuse, I can't make it tonight! But I'm with you and the boys in spirit - it's a big game so good luck to all the fans there this evening, and to SP and the team! PUSB!!You need to go and support them tonight...... No excuses
Less supporters, less money, worse team, relegation more likely.
If people staying away from the club don't achieve there aim to make SISU leave, then its only result will be detrimental to the club. Simple really.
I might be missing your point but are you saying it makes absolutely no difference if we have 5k or 20k attending under SISU?
Well attendances have been declining since they came in so its fair to say up until now the plan has been unsuccessful.
When considering loan interest & legal fees I am willing to wager the club is currently loss making. If income was to increase (due to higher attendances), what scenario do you think is more likely?
A) Sisu use this extra money to improve the squad.
B) Sisu use this extra money for club running costs, reducing what they have to put in.
If its B, then its not going to make a jot of difference to our league position.
Maybe we should have stayed at Sixfields then, starve them out quicker.Well there up about 7k on last season.
@ CCFC.......5k-10k-20k-25k.....None of those figures have bothered SISU up to now mate. They did f**k all about investment in the team when we were getting 20k-25k crowds. So why would it bother them getting 4k-5k? Remind me....What is the rent deal atm? Whatever it is, SISU are saving about 800k-900k per year? on rent deal as opposed to when they went on rent strike £1.3m or am I wrong?
That is a myth, a club can charge what it likes for entry to league matches but it must include away fans in all but a set number of games.Aren't they only allowed to do reduced admission for a certain number of games? Sure I read that somewhere, could be wrong.
It would depend on how much the losses are (which is only speculation on your part, if Fishers comment about cash flow positive is interpreted as break even then all the extra revenue could go towards the team, although it could mean something different) and also how much the extra revenue the club would get from increased attendances, you forgot option C
C) Revenues continues to decrease because of dwindling attendances, SISU further cut the playing squad as they don't want to increase their funding. If this doesn't get rid of SISU as the goal is then its only effect is further damaging to the club.
Maybe we should have stayed at Sixfields then, starve them out quicker.
Completely skirted the point anyway, dwindling attendances for the past however many years and they haven't even come close to leaving
