Man up.
I'd agree, mid table while giving him time to build his squad would be ok. Some people would hate it but if we were mid table with some Turnbull and Jones type players coming in in January and then next summer it would be promising for the next year. If we look to be going down come December then questions will need to be raised as to what to do.You mean if we get relegated. When he probably has a mid table budget.
That would be unacceptable.
If after January we are in the relegation spots that is seriously underperforming.
I was more thinking if we are in mid table and miss out on the play offs. I would rather see him stay and build on what he is developing.
Yes we can't put the ball in the back of the net. However we are dominating possession.
Personally I still think Jones,Vlad, Bigi, Turnball and Reid are good signings. They are our own players as is
RCC, Willis, Stephenson. DKE, Haynes
So I would like him and Venus to get another couple of transfer Windiws to build on these players that are our own. Add someone who can consistently hit the target.
A Leon Clarke in this team for example and we would IMO today be in and around the play offs.
From what he said on the radio Mowbray has been teaching our defenders how to play in a back 4.What actually does get done in training? It reminds me of Sunday league when 1 team turns up in their clothes from last night stinking of booze and the others all have matching tracksuits with initials on, and have done their homework.
Used to enjoy beating those tarts in tracksuits.Even watching our shooting drills before the game it is shocking.

I say this to my son every game .. when we practice shooting ..we only score about 1-4.. but every time he points out how good Roy o'donovan used to be in warm up and look how bad he was.. half the time they struggle to get it on target let alone beat the goal keeperEven watching our shooting drills before the game it is shocking.

MOTM in last 2 games. Least of our problems at the moment. Change the record.
The goalkeeper was easily man of the match. Question for you, Samo etc.
If we still had fleck and vincelot would you play him ahead of both of them?
I wouldn't.
Looks like we've fucked the loans this year. Are they all until Jan or are any full season?
I think we are trying to emulate last season but Murphy and Arma were rare finds. I'd rather see us get players like Turnbull and Jones in and blood the likes of Stevenson and DKE. We desperately need some experience around the place.
I don't think it takes too much to be a twenty a season striker at this level TBH, its more about form and how the team plays. So we should be looking at strikers who have scored a lot at youth/lower league, not signing players who have never shown goalscoring ability. I'd rather play Ponticelli (if that's his name) than Sordell at the moment.
We aren't going to challenge for a couple of years so let's get a solid spine of promising youngsters and reliable pros to last us a few years and see what we can build.
With that in mind, even though it's quite a weak side, with what we have I'd be playing:
RCC
DKE Willis Turnbull Haynes
Bigi Gadzhev Stevenson
Jones Sordell Reid
Buy I'd be looking to buy in a striker from lower divisions (or non league) and either push other DKE or Spence on, or look for another Jones.
