Weird, wonder if that is deliberate or just poor implementation. I can't see the benefit from blocking someone who has paid for the stream being able to watch it on whatever device they want.
Has anybody tried a Chromecast?
Or vice-versa?It wasn't iFollow. It was Samsung - they don't let their tvs stream from apple products only Samsung.
It works via HDMI cable. Watched it on my 50" TV.

What subscription are people paying to watch the games? Do you purchase the overseas?
I've got a Mac mini connected via HDMI, desktop displays on TV but when I go to watch a match I get the video window as a black square, rest of the desktop still displays and sound comes through. Anything else played through it is fine. That's weird. It sounds as if your cable is not connected properly. You have an Apple TV right, so I would have thought the cable option should work.

Same with MacBook Air to Apple TV via airplay. Desktop displays but video window is black with only audio playing.
Did you try other browsers?I've got a Mac mini connected via HDMI, desktop displays on TV but when I go to watch a match I get the video window as a black square, rest of the desktop still displays and sound comes through. Anything else played through it is fine.

Yep, all browsers do the same. Their support claimed it was a bandwidth issue despite it working fine on the laptop and me having a fibre connection.Did you try other browsers?
Have you tried it with a highlights video?Yep, all browsers do the same. Their support claimed it was a bandwidth issue despite it working fine on the laptop and me having a fibre connection.
They must have it blocked somehow, even if its accidental.
Good idea, I'll give that a try.Have you tried it with a highlights video?
Sounds like when you hit full screen for whatever reason it's not recognising your TV as the main display.I've got a Mac mini connected via HDMI, desktop displays on TV but when I go to watch a match I get the video window as a black square, rest of the desktop still displays and sound comes through. Both do the same. I can get the display on the TV fine, and anything else such as NHL Network is fine.Sounds like when you hit full screen for whatever reason it's not recognising your TV as the main display.
Have you extended your screen instead of duplicated it? Try duplicating it see if that helps.
Ah right. I'm on holiday at the mo but apparently my 'season pass' expired last week, and as I'm overseas the only option I'm seeing is the full whack season pass at over a hundred. Think I'll just miss a few games and renew when I'm back in the UKI just pay for individual games, I'm in and out of the country at the mo, ST holder and do about 8 away games a season. So paying full whack doesn't justify it for me.

How do you pay for individual games?
It's in the match centre. So log in, go to fixtures, pick the game, then it gives you an option to watch live.
Nice one. Assume you only get that option when you're out the country (or appear to be so). Does it accept UK bank card and billing details?
I'm possibly going to start travelling a bit this year so may be useful.
Haha cheers!!!Just HDMI it
I use "setup VPN" add on for chromeWhat VPN do people use?
Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
I used all UK addresses. Didn't once out an overseas address down.Does the overseas billing address not have to be linked to the card?
Sorted it, saved card details first then bought and it worked fine.I'm using a VPN, when I complete payment details and click pay it takes me back to log in screen. Anyone else having or had similar problems?
