I'm not even talking about robins really anymore but I can't avoid it be it on here or divs on twitterYou’ve lost your head about robins mate. All that not mentioning him isn’t fooling anyone. Get on the level headed side that are following every post on the Stoke forums and questioning his pension planning.
eh? we were 17th when Lampard was hired. Averaging 1 ppgThis is what I mean though. In reality we’ve gone from 14th to 10th and you’re making it out like some all time great achievement. Hence my poking in this thread.
He’s beaten several teams on terrible runs of form. He’s scraped a couple of close games against Bristol and QPR. First half against Watford aside I’m yet to come away from a game thinking we’ve played well tbh.
His record is pretty much what he’s doing here. Tactically poor, reliant on an outstanding performer (in this case Dovin) and not massively improving the teams situation while spending a fair amount (£4m on Grimes). You don’t need to watch every game there’s this thing called the internet where people who have sit around discussing them all day.
I know we’re in a purple patch so you’re not allowed to say it and it’s crowing season and I will still change my avatar if we’re still in this form at the end of the month, but we are 10th with a squad that finished 9th last season. Let’s have a little perspective.
By the way I believe although I could be wrong, that's 9 wins in 16 league games ? What % is that
Can't fault that , excellent
If Lampard beats Preston he can have a hand Shandy from me. Just drop me a message Frank.
Completely agree. That's the one thing I don't think anyone can dispute has improved under Lampard, the confidence & belief he's instilled has been massive. When you have belief, you can play poorly but still grind out results. Now Lampard has had a chance to work with the squad, he appears to have instilled that belief. We were a long way from our best today but we’ve gone away to a decent team who were above us in the table and snatched a fantastic result.
We can dissect whether we deserved it or not but at the end of the day, it’s another 3 points in the bag and the momentum continues.
That squad's really together now.Completely agree. That's the one thing I don't think anyone can dispute has improved under Lampard, the confidence & belief he's instilled has been massive.
I agree with this sentiment too. But i must admit ive never seen us lose confidence as badly and as quickly as we did vs Portsmouth 2nd half.Completely agree. That's the one thing I don't think anyone can dispute has improved under Lampard, the confidence & belief he's instilled has been massive.
Although I backed Robins leaving I don't think you can score the points until the start of the season we need a better start. Robins always gave us a good finish. The only people scoring more points than Lampard are the hardy few who backed the decision to can Robins. Honestly I've never scored so many points on the internet. Good times.
Yes Robins always gave us a good finish to the season. When he left I had my doubts. But with 13 games to go we're 1 point off the top 6. Anyone thinking we would be better off with Robins is deluded.Although I backed Robins leaving I don't think you can score the points until the start of the season we need a better start. I mean he does have form... But as I say judge it over a season.Yes Robins always gave us a good finish to the season. When he left I had my doubts. But with 13 games to go we're 1 point off the top 6. Anyone thinking we would be better off with Robins is deluded.
There won't be anyone looking forward to playing us ( including you Preston). If we can get decent points from our next 4 games hopefully we can hit the more difficult March fixtures with all our main players fit.
which site is this from mate? Can't really argue with the table since his first game. I was sceptical but willing to give him a chance and have been pleasantly surprised

They won't, but at the same time I don't think they'll be fearing playing us either. We're picking up great results, but we've not really had any great performances. Without Dovin in goal we wouldn't have won most of those matches, as he's probably been MotM for us in most. There won't be anyone looking forward to playing us ( including you Preston). Some real anomalies there in terms of game's played, god knows what Leeds was about! Can't really argue with the table since his first game. I was sceptical but willing to give him a chance and have been pleasantly surprised

9/16 x 100 plus {16/9}/minus ~2\3, . Just over 50% or thereabouts.By the way I believe although I could be wrong, that's 9 wins in 16 league games ? What % is that

Apart from last season.Although I backed Robins leaving I don't think you can score the points until the start of the season we need a better start. Robins always gave us a good finish.
It goes to show that those blaming her earlier in the season were clueless, to be fair.Ffs lad's, it's nothing to do with Frank or the new coaching staff, step forward no other than Dr Roberts.
Who'd have thought a sleep coach was the answer.
