Yeah, hope we have a go at them, especially the home ones. I think we'll make the playoffs, but need to prove we can beat this level of team if we're going to get past the semis or beyond
Yeah, the next one is set up to be a draw or worse I feel... But we'll see!
I really want to see us beat one of Sunderland, Sheffield United or Burnley. That's the only unanswered question Lampard has left I think - beating a really good team. He's only really had Leeds in the league so far, so will be interesting to see what happens in those games.
As a Sheffield resident I would dearly love to beat them on their own patch. Their fan base varies between the hugely pesimistic ( generally the older ones) and the deluded ( the young ones ) who are particularly ignorant and obnoxious generally.
One thing that has particularly impressed me is the relationship FL seems to have with all the players and his obvious connection with the fans. Winning helps but it' is such a positive and refreshing attitude. The whole coaching team appears to have spent plenty of time with every player as there has been plenty of improvement in many of them . We look to have progressed to a higher level and I personally think this is entirely due to the new set up.
Certainly seems that way from the outside looking in & I'm delighted to see it, as it's something Lampard has been strongly criticised for in his previous roles. Leaving a potentially difficult character like Bassette out of the squad could be testing so it's important he's managed properly.
Because they had a better month than us, including beating us.
And for those that believe in such things as manager of the month curse, they've just lost 1-0 to Portsmouth.
