I'm sick of the ticket buying website (1 Viewer)

It's rubbish

When I spend that much money on something I would love to be more assured that it's worth it

releasing tickets by priority date is the only thing that makes sense about it.

The system they use of selling tickets block by block is so misleading. For the Reading match last season I talked to a lady on the phonewho said that the next block of tickets only becomes free when the first lot have sold out. She then admitted that the first block were the seats that were stuck in the corner and that until another 200 cov fans shelled out for these poorer seats the ones behind the goal would be locked.

The diagrams of the seats seem to be drawn at random and haveno relation to the actual grounds

I am currently waiting for the RV block to become unlocked despite all of the S block being sold out. In other words I can't buy any tickets.

and what do these mysterious letters actually mean? RV is probably restricted view but why on EARTH don't they just write that on the box so I know what I'm paying for? The number of mysterious letter combinations that I've seen on these diagrams. What the hell do they all mean? Does S just mean seats? or Seats where you can actually see?

Surely they should make it easier, clearer and less counter intuitive to actually support the team. Especially when ticket prices are as they are...

Oh and don't even get me started about that bloody hold music...

Technology Eh,Us dinosuars battle with it daily, its the booking fees that do my swede ,there is no need for the face to face ,so thats a saving to the club, yet abooking fee is applied and if you're buying a group the booking fee is applied on each ticket although there's only one transaction

Just phoned the club, website not working for some reason. RV does mean restricted view, bought a ticket anyway (£23). Sometimes I think I prefer restricted view(!), hopefully that'll change under Robins!

I've used the on line booking system loads of times and on the whole found it to be a fast and efficient way of booking tickets with very few problems. Generally, for away tickets, the club are at the mercy of the home team who dictate in what order the seats are to be sold, the letters usually refer to the block that they're selling. Despite being a season ticket holder I can't make it today but am also looking at booking tickets for Orient, I'll either wait until the on-line site is up and running again or buy over the phone later today or on Monday. I've never ever paid a booking fee either on-line or by phone, usually just a 90p postage charge if I choose not to collect the tickets myself. As with all electronic systems, none are flawless, however ours is usually pretty good and better than most others.

Agreed with last post - seems a bizarre thing to complain about as I've always found it better than other ticket booking systems I've come across, both in terms of ease of seat selection and lack of excessive fees. Would you rather we outsourced to ticketmaster and paid about a fiver per ticket?

not that bizarre, and yes it isn't the worst ticketing system i've seen either. Didn't say it was.

Why can't they simply
1 - release the tickets in order of how good the seats are
2 - make the diagram correspond properly to the setating plan at the ground
3 - use real words instead of letters.
4 - sort out the booking fees/postage charge

this would make it a better ticketing service. A better service would probably mean more tickets sold.

Simple
