They have had 9 candidates removed so far for using overtely offensive and racist language
They use language like being "swamped" and "invaded"
They have no real policy apart from get out of the EU and stop immigration
They play on peoples fear of immigration and exploit areas of mixed communities to get votes - classic racist party tactic
They talk about the effect immigration has had on "british culture" - another scaremongering far right strategy
I could go on but most of the above is probably far too appealing for many of you on here and might have the reverse effect!

I think that we learnt the other day in court that personal opinion is not the same as policy. And as you say these people have been removed, surely if they are racist they would not have only remained their opinions would have been adopted as policy. You've countered your own weak argument there.
Immigration has had an effect on British culture, mostly positive. But it would be wrong not to debate it.

UKIP are a bunch of establishment, right-wing nutters no doubt. The idea that what we need is a privately educated banker representing the people is frankly ludicrous!
However, people are hurting. It's not immigration, it's 30 years of trying to turn the working class in this country into low wage slaves to compete with China and refusal to support basic services like schools and housing.
No-one gives a fuck about Ahmed next door if you've got a decent job, somewhere to live and well funded services. This shit only appears when government fail in their job of looking after the people of their country. Immigration needs looking at, the EU needs looking at, however we will be far worse outside the EU. Farage would have you with no protection, working for pennies an hour.
The major parties need to stop this "anyone who says that there is a British culture is racist" crap. Most people just don't buy it. It's the same problem with the feminists and "rape culture", what may start out as a valid point in some cases becomes a tired cliche that offends people and shuts down discussion. When you shut down discussion you hand the debate to the crazies.
