My point is, we had a revolution under JH

SISU have the chance to do the same, (IN COVENTRY) but I won't hold my breath :(

Love the man, but makes me sick to my stomach this is via Sky Blues Player - put on the club's official youtube channel, and thanks to them Jimmy's statue is currently standing idle, gathering pigeon shit, outside what should be our home.

I started my support of the Sky Blues when Jimmy Hill took over and watching this has saddened me and angered me too.
He started the revolution and the owners now have destroyed Jimmy's dream and ours.

Excellent post, it sickens me to the core this current mess we find ourselves in.

Talking to another City fan this morning who like me has been following the club since the sixties, and he reckons the club will be no more in a couple of years.I hope he like most of us was just feeling pissed off but is our future bright ?

1st time I've seen that. Nothing stupid mate, no matter how tough/hard any city fan thinks they are if it doesn't put a lump in your throat you have a problem.

Wow! Never saw that before, but how powerful is that when looking at the sad state of affairs at my once great club....

Unfortunately, YouTube videos of great games will be all we have soon. That's why I savour the PNE in JPT, MK Dons away etc games, as they may not be as great as beating Man U 3-2, but they are history in the making at the minute. (excluding sixfields games)

As the stadium is empty at the moment, could we borrow the J H statue and place it outside the council house as they are making alterations.

I did just have a tear in my eye and I know nothing about the 60's as I'm 25 years old.

Such a shame the state we are in and whether we will be around in 3 years. I can only hope the second half of my life brings back good times and I can enjoy what you guys did.

I'd rather win the lottery, knock down the houses over HR, and rebuild HR tbh IMO

I remember from 95 onwards. I remember all the new big Ron's sky blue army. I remember some good times. But leaving HR was bad news. And I will be going tomorrow and it means the world as it always does. I won't let sisu ruin my passion but in the grand scheme of things it's irrelevant. I would rather my club be safe and secure and well run. We are none of these. SP is a good man and rekindled some love as if someone like Andy thorn or Peter reid was in charge I would be even more down.

Jimmy probably doesn't know a thing about what's happening hear. Such a sad state of affairs our football club.

What's happened and happening to us is one of the most ludicrous thing to happen to an English football club.
